After setting the correct torque, away you go. It is very durable and it took me about 5-10 minutes to get used to using it the right way. The belt clip really comes in handy for convenient quick access, for example if you are supporting a panel with one hand above head ready to fix. Torque is consistent and can be fine tuned. I like the fact that the torque setting ‘locks’ in so that it cannot vibrate to another setting on its own.Tip: DO NOT PUT A SMALL ¼ BIT IN THE DRIVER IT WILL GET STUCK, if you do, you can remove the very small C clip from the end of the release mechanism to rescue it, but this is a bit fiddly.The DeWalt magnetic hex driver set of 8mm, 10mm and 13mm which slide out so you can remove any metal stuck to the magnets work great with this.

The gun feels robust and drives in screws quite easily, bought these to replace impact drivers which apparently damage rubber washers. Depends on the experience of the user! I find these new guns rip the washers right off, you have to turn the power right down or you Have no chance. Also really heavy to use cladding a wall all day long, probably a lot easier to use on the roof. Batteries last well in these.
