I use these as an alternative to baby changing mats. I'm struggling to understand why the normal padded plastic covered mats are so often used as I found out quickly that when a baby pees mid change, the wee runs across the plastic and either onto your floor or into all the baby's clothes so that a whole outfit change is then required. I had some spare ones of these the the hospital had given me to sit on after my waters broke and so I started using them as baby change mats and they work amazingly. Most of the time they're still perfectly clean after changing and so I just keep using over and over but when that mid change pee happens, it's all just soaked up a and the mat is disposed. After I ran out of the hospital ones I purchased these and I'm pleased that they're smaller than the big hospital ones. They're more like A3 size which is handy as they fit in the changing bag.I now buy them as part of a "things you don't think you need, but you really do" gift bundle for any friends who are expecting their first baby. They usually get a bit of a giggle when being opened but I always receive a grateful text when they've proven their use

Perfect size wrapped around a towel to use in my cats carriers to make their journeys to the vet more comfortable.

Absorbs quite well little accidents. Can't feel them under the sheets but they are quite small.

we use these for baby changing at home as well as out and about as others have said. Also have a very messy dog when he's eating so they save my kitchen floor! Notice some have said they are very thin - as a retired nurse this is the whole point, they are very absorbent and great value for money. As I write I'm thinking could also be useful when toddlers are learning to manage without nappies? I would put them under their sheet though.

I actually use this under the dog flap, that is fitted in my back door, to capture and trap any water that might come through when the dog flap is not covered up. Does the job perfectly. Great price. Recommend.

we use this product on top of my babys nappy changing mat. it is perfect as she often pees when her nappy is off. this absorbs everything and keeps the mat dry and clean. the nappy mat can also be cold so this is good for that too.great for when your out and about and need to change a nappy. can put on a sofa without worry of fluid leakage. or for the nasty public changing tables.the pads come folded neatly for storage and packing in a bag.I personally prefer these to the boots own brand.

These are fairly cheap and it reflects in the item. They are small and very thin and don't hold much fluid. They gather up very fast due to there size. I ended up using them under a fleece for my guinea pigs and they work better for them.
