I bought this product hoping to be able to film videos that are less shaky on my phone (I know that modern phone cameras have stabilizers, but most of them are not good enough to fully compensate the instability when it goes down to filming while walking or worse - running). I had my hopes and wishes in check as it is a very simplistic grip, but well surprised I was to see it working. The great thing about this stabilizer and the only reason it actually works - it gives you much firmer and better grip. So here are the highlights:• Comfortable in hand and the material of this item is good too, you can't loose a grip even with sweaty or just wet hands• Flexibility - a top part of this grip can be swapped to accommodate either a phone or a camera• Strap is handy as well, serves as a last safety straw• Weight is somewhat reasonable, if you are used to carrying your camera / phone in a hand while filming then you will notice the difference as it adds up a bit of weight, but a whole thing is still pretty light, so you will stop realizing shortlyAll in all, it's a very good item that comes at a low price with high price/quality ratio.

I had been getting pains in my wrist and thumb so when looking I found this. It is easier to hold and there are two different positions, one holding it to the side and the other holding it like a gear stick in front of you. The only improvements I would make was to make the handle have a soft grip rather than plastic, and the other would be to make the width a bit more to be able to hold a Mobile in it’s case easier.

I'd been looking for a way to steady my phone while walking and video-ing. This is very basic but easy to hold and very useful when you want to walk and talk.Sometimes simple is best. I have no qualms recommending this to you if you want a low tech way to steady your phone while filming. With the iPhone built in stablization and walking slowly I was able to get a nice steady video without needing a gimbal etc.

I found that this simple, solid, well designed gadget makes it easier to take sharper photos with my iPhone SE. I can hold the phone rock steady in it. The spring-loaded jaws hold the phone securely. The pistol grip is comfortable and non-slip. The safety strap at the base can be tightened around the wrist, so that if I were to let go the phone would not fall to the ground. It's also possible to unscrew the safety strap mounting and then screw the device onto a camera tripod. I paid under £13 for it, and it's not flimsy but a solid piece of kit.

Good accessory for flash photography
This was recommended by Michael Burke at Inside Real Estate Photography. I use it on an AD200 Pro. Using it makes flash pops much easier to direct and the strap allows me to multitask.

This Fantaseal universal ergonomic camera screw-on pistol grip is really fantastic.Pros:- Solidly built with hardened latex or rubber material with a metal tightening screw that fits universal screw mounts on cameras.- Very comfortable to hold with its ergonomic design for hands and fingers for a secure grip.- Adds greater stability when taking photos with a DSLR camera, small point-and-shoot camera, smartphone, film or video camera, etc.- With this more solid grip, it may reduce or eliminate blurriness of photos, particularly in low-light situations if you don't have a tripod or monopod handy or in high-wind situations during a storm, on a ship, etc.- Includes a hand-strap for extra ease of mind (in addition to using your camera hand-strap or shoulder strap).- Includes a lens-cleaning cloth as a nice bonus.Cons:- The only con is the latex/rubber smell of the pistol grip is quite strong for anyone with latex or scent sensitivity issues, but this smell may subside over time.- A possible solution for the manufacturer or customer would be to wrap some tennis racquet-style leather adhesive gripping material around the grip area.Conclusion: A+This is an awesome pistol grip for your camera needs and a great value. I can't wait to use this grip for my photography (closeup nature photography, scenery, architecture, ship journeys, air shows with high-speed jets racing by, etc.). Buy it. You won't regret it.

Funktioniert perfekt als Zubehör zu Spektiven mit geringerer und mittlerer Vergrößerung (48x, 45x, 40x, 36x und weniger), die sich damit bequem in der Hand halten lassen und nicht unbedingt ein Stativ benötigen.Das Beste dabei ist, durch den Schraubanschluss unten lassen sie sich trotzdem MIT GRIFF mit einem Stativ kombinieren. (Am unkompliziertesten ist dabei ein Einbein-Stativ.)Das gilt sowohl für Spektive mit Geradeeinblick bis 48x als auch für kleinere, leichtere Spektive mit Schrägeinblick.48x ist allerdings die absolute Obergrenze. Alles darüber benötigt unbedingt ein stabiles, wackelfreies Stativ, und der Griff wäre dann in Verbindung mit einem Stativ zu instabil (weil das Spektiv zu schwer wäre).
