Great used it to fix a leaning post after high winds, took less than 30 minutes to sort out. Post is stable and fence is back up. Much easier and cost effective than having to dig out the old concrete base and replacing the post! Highly recommend! All you need is a good mallet, leveling bead, drill and some decent screws!

These are great, I have purchased these previously for a broken fence post and they did the job , this was last year and still not replaced the post yet as the post has still no movement. the post this time was completely broken due to rot, needs a new post to be honest but thought I would try these again temporarily, easy to use , 20 minutes work post still solid even though completely split in 2, been 3 months now and plenty of wind still no movement , so will hold off in getting a new post as these do the job and also look ok.

Needed these to sheer up a fence post that had been badly installed. Used 3 and after fitting, has been transformational - the post is now solid, and has held up to stormy weather. Fairly easy to install, although the tops could do with a lip to use a lamp hammer on, as I needed to use a drift to hammer home, which tended to pein the ends a bit, but they screwed in fine. A secure repair that hopefully should last!

Bought two packs of two in order to try to fix two 4 x 4 fence posts broken in the recent storm. The posts were concreted in and suffered fair wear and tear over the years. I didn't expect these metal bars to work, but the possibility that they might was worth a gamble as the alternative was digging out the old concrete and doing a full replacement job (or paying hundreds for someone else to do it).I was very impressed. Of the four bars, three of them went in relatively easily to the required depth using just a club hammer. The fourth hit something and wouldn't go deeper even with a sledge hammer, so this one was approx 10cm too high, but I went ahead anyway.They did a great job and fixed the broken posts. I put new additional posts in midway between the broken posts for additional support, but the repairs have probably got me two to four years of additional life and saved money.Easy to install and worked well in a tough situation.

These fencing post support brackets are superb. Very east to fit with instructions which explained clearly everything to do and which screws to use. It took very little time to mend a damaged fence post so saved a lot of expense and cash to do a repair.

After a storm damaged our fence, the last repair left it looking like it was on its last legs. Our neighbours weren’t exactly rushing to help, so the job fell to us… again. We’re in the process of selling our house and didn’t want the huge bill of replacing the whole fence.Enter Post Buddy – and wow, what a difference! The fence is now as sturdy as the day it was first put up. My father-in-law was sceptical at first and had all his tools ready to dig out the old posts, saying my purchase “won’t hold”. He was absolutely gobsmacked when he came back the next day to see the fence fully repaired and rock solid – and even tried his best to shake it to prove he was right… but it didn’t budge.These are affordable, easy to use, and actually do exactly what they promise. I looked at other similar products, but they were thinner, shorter, and nearly two to three times the price for just one strip. The deal I got here means I even have two left over for emergencies.Only tip I’d add to their already easy-to-follow guide: wear a decent pair of work gloves. If you hit a stone or the concrete at the wrong angle, the vibration shoots right up your hand!Highly recommend – this product really works!

Thought from reviews I have read these would make the rotten post nearly solid but after following the instructions to the letter two strong bars didn’t make any difference at all perhaps it was just my ground condition which is very wet at present but now having to consider dismantling the fence removing the post and replacing with a concrete one. The bars themselves are thick and strong but if the post in the ground is just mush then they are going to do the job.

I purchased these after noticing the fence was swaying in the wind and wasn't actually sturdy. Upon closer inspection I noticed the bottom of the wooden posts were very rotten. I didn't want to go to the expense of replacing the fence though so looked at alternatives.Hammering and screwing these in was very straightforward. You do need to use a few heavy sturdy lump hammer. Screws weren't included so you'll need some 50x5mm ones handy. Fence doesn't feel as solid as it was before but overall I'm happy as it this was a much cheaper option and I've managed to eke out a few more years of my fence yet.

I had a 4”x4” fence post that my neighbor hit with their car. The post is completely broken at the base. His Elmer’s glue did not do the trick. Thanks neighbor.I installed a set of these (2) and the fence post is now sturdy like it should be. These work exactly as described and are super easy to install. Has held up to some pretty strong wind gusts.

I was little skeptical, but the steel is thicker than I expected and seems to work well. The top of the concrete was lower than the ground so the post rotted. I added 2 braces and build up the concrete to be above ground to prevent further deterioration. Some posts were not as bad, so I added 1 brace to the front and added concrete.Time will tell if this works. 2 of the posts are too far gone and I will do a proper replacement pulling the concrete up,.installing new post and concrete.If the posts are not too far gone, this system should work.I was also surprised that it was not that hard to hammer the brace in, I used only a regular hammer.

So easy to use. The post I repaired was actually broken completely off from the cement. I used three of these to secure it back on. I’m 66 years old. The thought of having to dig another hole, and mix cement and replace the entire section made me tired! These worked perfectly and were super easy to do. And I did it by my self. Don’t know how long they will hold but it’s good for now and very sturdy. I live in the panhandle of Texas and we are expecting 80 mile an hour gusts today. So let’s see how this stands up!

Great for fence posts with a concrete base

This works very well to support fence posts that are broken or almost broken below ground level and for supporting wobbly posts. Unlike some reviewers have said, the steel is very strong (it is designed to bend a little because that it how to get it in properly). However it requires a concrete base on the fence post. Once you hammer it in solidly along the post behind the concrete base, and screw it into the fence post above ground, it is very effective at supporting the post. The concrete post base below ground is what holds it in place below ground and makes it all work. If you do not have a strong base, it may not work well.
