I'm a bit of a tool fanatic, and I've used/owned a lot of different brands professionally. Dewalt/milwaukee/hikoki/festool/metabo etc.... This is one of the best out there, I run makita 12v batteries just to use this and their fantastic right angle impact. This is far superior to the brushed model too, pay the extra for the ergonomics and power. Ideal for kitchen fitting. Will drive 100mm screws no problem, bigger if you need on occasion. If all you're driving mostly is under 100mm this is the best impact on the market for size and comfort.

This is my 2nd 12v Makita. I’m converted. 10/10. I prefer its weight for medium duty tasks. It’s still the same Japanese quality you expect from Makita. I’ve had the LXT previously. This is just as good. Possibly almost the same. It’s incredible. I’m converting a van to a motorhome and it’s my daily driver. It’s also not so loud as to deafen you when using like some of the 18v competitors. Remember it requires a different battery and charger. Some of the replacement unbranded options are really good now.

After my 12 yr old Erbauer compact driver failed (shame - lovely tool!) I wanted something similar for getting into tight spots and not being too heavy as already have a "big" impact driver. This is just the ticket. I can't comment on longevity yet but it seems well made and having a variable speed means you can use just the right force to save on wear and tear. As it's a bare tool I'm using 3rd party batteries (Fenwing I think) which seem to last OK.

I'm just a hobbyist and DIYer, so haven't thrashed this like a tradesperson will do. However, for light construction and jobs around the home it is perfect. Lightweight, durable and reliable but packs plenty of punch. All Makita tools I have ever bought have lasted for many years with light use, even the batteries. A pro grade tool for a reasonable price.

Absolutely brilliant bit of kit, been using them for 3”xNo.10 screws in concrete and it doesn’t struggle at all. I like the 3 different settings on it, although I haven’t needed to use the other 2 setting on it yet as just kept it on High Power. 2.0ah battery still lasts more than a day with constant use which is impressive.

Great for the trades!
I use it every day as an electrician. Easy on the wrist, the 12v is so much lighter than the 18v I used to carry around.Lots of power!

Siempre había trabajado con las herramientas de 18v ya sea de Makita y Milwaukee, pero está de 12v es una bestia, Makita necesita más herramientas de 12v en versión Brushless, ya que la mayoría son con motores de escobillas y esta es una mala bestia para ser de 12v, luego tienes un montón de accesorios incluso para usarlo de taladro, os lo recomiendo ya que quedaréis igual de impresionados que yo.
