I discovered CoQ10 a few years ago, long after I began taking statins. I wish I'd found them earlier. The claim is that you really need to be taking this if you're on a statin. However, it has to be said that it's not cut and dried. While some studies have shown there's a benefit to be gained, others are inconclusive, and the National Institutes of Health published a paper by Richard Deichmann et al which says other factors such as age and exercise can also make a difference. So after taking CoQ10 for a while I decided to save my money. For a bit I didn't take any, but then I came across it again as I was searching for a reason for my low energy levels. These ones seemed to be a good balance between cost and strength so I decided to experiment again and I shelled out. Within a couple of weeks I noticed a change for the better, and I've been taking them daily ever since. Can I guarantee they're helping me? No. But it does seem to be too much of a coincidence that my energy levels dropped when I stopped them, and rose when I began taking them again. These ones work well for me - or at least I believe they do. So if you're taking statins, are getting on in years, and/or exercise a lot give them a go. They might just give you a new lease of life. I make sure I don't run out of them now.

If I could give this ten stars, I would.I'm 60 and, although active, often experienced chronic fatigue. I was also experiencing nausea and heartburn. Having done research, COQ10 came up as a possible solution.Three days after starting them, I felt like a different person. No nausea, no heartburn but, most of all, a highly noticeable improvement in my energy levels.I can now exercise without feeling tired afterwards. My motivation for exercise is now high and I'm eager to start running again, after two weeks of high intensity power walking, and cycling.As if that wasn't good enough.....I've been with my fiance for 17 years. One thing that's always driven me nuts is EVERY night, he falls asleep on the settee, often as early as 8pm and during the afternoon on weekends.He's 65 and, apparently, has been like this for many years. Anyhow, he'd also been experiencing heartburn so I suggested he try CoQ10.OMFG!! Hello Tigger!!He's a new man! After only two days, he hasn't fallen asleep once and is as active as when I first met him in his forties.Now, all you naysayers, before you say it's the placebo effect, let's recall he's taking them for heartburn (which has 100% gone btw)He's blown away, and so am I. I'm a Forex trader, so need mental clarity, which is another area I've noticed huge improvement.I genuinely feel as if this has knocked 20 years, or more, off our physical age. My friends have noticed such a change in me, they've aso started taking it.Incidentally, I have tried CoQ10 before, without experiencing any difference. We'll be sticking to this brand for sure.

I take one a day. This was a better price than the 3 for the price of 2 on 30x100mg Q10 capsules from Tesco. It was good to take just 1 instead of 3 capsules. I find that if I stop taking this supplement I become very run down in a matter of days. I use it to counter the impact of Statins on my system. The Swiss BioEnergetics seem to work to the same degree as the High Street variety. It is very hard to tell though what is doing what when your state of health has been poor.I do not know what the impact would be for anyone who is not on other medications but if you are middle aged and feeling run down, lacklustre and out of energy I would recommend trying this product or Q10 in general - there is info on the web so please do research it first. If you are out of sorts or taking other medications then do get medical advice. It is not normal to feel exhausted and drained on a frequent basis even when you are getting older. Do not rely on supplements which may mask symptoms of something you need to get help for.One thing - these capsules are quite large (c.2cmx0.5cm) so if you have problems swallowing tablets in general I would suggest trying Q10 in another form. If you do take other medicines regularly then you will probably have no problem with them - I find them easy to swallow as they are not particularly hard.

I really was, but I thought I would give these a try. The reviews, as ever, helped me make that decision. I have been taking statins for many years and my legs, in particular, have hurt and been very weak for some time. In fact, they just ached all the sodding time. I found out about Q10 quite by accident in an online newspaper article. In a couple of months, I will hit 60!If any of the above rings a bell with you, buy some of these and you may soon feel as I do now. I bought them just over a month ago and in that time my energy levels have increased noticeably. I am lucky enough to live in the country and there is a long drove next to my bungalow. Most days of the week I now walk that dove at a fair pace with a 15 Kilo (33lb) weight in my back pack. I never would have believed it possible on my poor, aching cocktail stick legs! They feel a 100% better and getting them moving again is a wonderful feeling. I have started doing a weight training routine too.Are these capsules a miracle cure? I don’t really know. What I do know is that I am very glad I found them. I have got the energy and desire to get moving again and have rid myself of the misery of thin aching legs. I just wish I had cottoned on years ago.Your choice, but I say risk the £15 and it could change your situation. Good luck and all the best.
