I bought this as it's specifically for electricians, but I would say it's best features are the wide range of labels available, and motorised label cutter which really saves time, and tape if you making a number of labels.The cutter can make a part cut through the label leaving the backing tape intact so that you can keep labels in order on one long streamer until they are required when you just peel them off the backing. This also saves tape as every time you cut all the way through the tape, the machine leaves a wasted stub that just gets thrown away.After using the manual cut models I can tell you this one saves a lot of time, and you don't get left with lots of cut off stubs and bit's of backing tape hanging out of every pocket and all over the floor!There are a number of electrical symbols and labels available from menu, and you can save your own labels with different file names to recall later. This is bluetooth so you can program using your phone or PC, rather than the horrible rubber keypad. I've briefly tried the phone app (which was a bit of trouble to get hold of and unclear which app should be used). Serialisation of numbers is possible.

Just recently purchased this primarily for a robotics project so that the cables and connections can be clearly labelled. Looked at the 100 model but this seemed limited. I had settled on the 300 model, when I came across this bundle for an extra 30 pounds, with more tapes and the extra features.It could be classed as hand held if you have large paws, but I would consider it a printer that you place on a surface to operate. It has so many options and so many symbols that I doubt there is a label that cannot be printed. I am unlikely to use all the features, but like the confidence that I can print anything that I need.The wifi function makes connection to the app very simple. It takes about 1 minute to connect after the initial connection, but the connection seems solid and so far has not dropped out on me. The half cut feature saves tape when printing multiple labels, I will probable not benefit from this so much as someone that prints loads of labels for industrial use.Many years ago I used to install computer systems and environments and had a cupboard full of labels needed for the job. I wish I had a labeller like this back then, just store all the regularly used labels and press a button, instead of rummaging around in the cupboard and finding you had run out.Being a hobbyist user, I will probably not use this to its full potential, but will enjoy having a professional tool to hand to print the labels and heat shrink that I want when I want them.

This is the best label maker I’ve ever bought. It can do everything even patch pannels which is soo useful in my line of work. 100% recommend. I can even connect my phone and import databases and save files on my phone for future use
