It takes 2 aaa batteries, as only had it a week unsure how long it lasts. It also features temperature in the room and an alarm easy to set, so happy with it that I'm glad my old one lost the digital display to find this one!!! 100% recommend

Great clock , small and compact, bright back light when needed. No need to worry about it when clocks go back or forward as it does it all for you , if it’s by your bed and not near a window it may need putting on the window just so the radio transmitter can pick up signal, but a great clock , 100% I would buy again

I experience a lot of power cuts in bad weather, despite electrical engineers frequently "fixing" the problem. Every time they say it's something different going wrong. As such, I frequently had to reset the time, radio station and alarm on my previous mains powered clock. And power cuts at night meant my alarm just didn't go off in the morning. It got so frustrating I don't use it anymore, despite liking some nice features.This is easy to set up, you just press a button to turn on and it'll sort itself out. Initial set up failed as something interfered, so I put it in the windowsill and recalibrated as per instructions. It can take about 8 mins to calibrate so be patient. Everything was correct (date, month, temperature) and the time was accurate. It's a good size but as you'd expect it's easy to knock over. The stand on the bottom is just hard plastic, no grippy rubber. The time is plenty clear enough for me, if you have bad eyesight it might not be clear enough as it is a little blurry and due to the display the text can't be seen from all angles. The backlight is blue and gives even lighting. It calibrates itself overnight every day. Not sure how good the battery life will be but I think it will be good enough. You can only set one alarm at a time with no presets and only one sound (traditional alarm sound). I personally don't intend on using this as I have a much more gentle alarm on my watch. It seems easy to set and the screen shows if the alarm is set on or off. I assume it works as intended.Main downside is it looks pretty cheap as you'd expect. But everything works and it feels durable enough. Mine has lots of small scuff marks around the front border obviously caused during manufacturing. sacrifices have to be made at this price but it's not too obvious unless you pick it up.It comes with a 2 year warranty which is handy.This is very good value for money. To be honest I'd be happy to pay £5 more for better overall quality, 2 different alarms, possibly different alarm sounds, and grippy rubber feet on the bottom. But as it stands, a good cheap but reliable clock. Great if you're looking for something basic and easy to use without spending much money on it. I would like an upgraded version of this to be made just to make it a bit better without being too expensive

I've given this 5 stars because it's a fab clock.. for the UK...I doubted reviews confirming it's useless in different time zones, but needed it for the UK only anyway so purchased all the same.Plenty on here to confirm how good a little clock this is on here, so I'll concentrate on the RC update feature it defaults to in the early hours of the morning regardless of any adjustment.I've tested it and it seems (unlike other RC clocks) it doesn't have settings for other time zones. It's a clock made only for the UK domestic market as it only updates to GMT.There is a manual mode obtainable via the "wave" button (RC symbol absent), and so I thought I'd set the wrong time on manual and see what happened overnight (leaving it on manual)...In the morning the RC symbol had miraculously returned and the clock had adjusted correctly to the second to GMT..Conclusion: Useless in any time zone that doesn't follow GMT time. Set it for a flight departure (for example) and you are screwed.It's a lovely foolproof clock for the UK and so I'm happy (5 stars from me) but the tag "travel clock" and nothing in the description re the fact that it certainly isn't is a bit naughty tbh..We're they to just provide a setting that kept the RC off then it would be perfect.Very odd that the company producing it are into sales self harm in this way...

This is well made with lots of functions and a very good price but I wanted a clock that would allow me to check the time during the night but the backlight is so bright I can’t use it and have had to buy a a new one after 4 weeks, would have sent it back but didn’t keep the packaging, disappointing

Thus seemed to be a good product, but then randomly it changed to a different time zone in the middle of the night, meaning the alarm didn't go off.

Excellent little clock. It picked up the radio signal and set the time and date within a few minutes of inserting the batteries. It's a relief to be free of the hassle of manually setting up the information and then repeating the process when the time changes in the Spring and Autumn. I haven't used the alarm or snooze functions so I can't comment on those.

Non viene specificato che riceve il segnale inglese per l'impostazione dell'ora e non ti permette di cambiare fuso orario. Ha la possibilità di rimuovere l'opzione per aggiornare l'ora ma non so perché finisce di funzionare di notte, puntualmente ogni mattina ti ritrovi con l'ora cambiata...HO RIMEDIATO TOGLIENDO L'ANTENNA CHE C'È ALL'INTERNO 😉😉😉
No vale para España (excepto Canarias)
En ningún sitio ponía que recibe la señal inglesa para el radio control por lo que se pone cuando conecta siempre una hora menos que en la España peninsular. Si eres de Canarias sí que te viene bien pero no te permite cambiar de uso horario, por eso le pongo baja calificación. También tiene la posibilidad de quitar la opción de actualizar la hora, no sé por qué al final acaba cambiando por la noche, de hecho ya me he despertado un dia tarde por el reloj.

This is well made with lots of functions and a very good price but I wanted a clock that would allow me to check the time during the night but the backlight is so bright I can’t use it and have had to buy a a new one after 4 weeks, would have sent it back but didn’t keep the packaging, disappointing
