This s softer than the other melt & pour soap bases so I advise everyone not to add too much oils & fragrances to it. This soap has a naturally good smell to it and doesn't need many additives. Melts easily in a micro or in a double boiler and it s easy to pour. To eliminate air bubbles, I d recommend to use alcohol spray on top of a the bars. I did not bother with this as the soaps are for myself . I customized bars for face and body use by adding various oils . Very easy way to make a variety of products and layers well.As a rule of thumb, no more than 1 tbs of oil/ honey etc per half loaf is recommended or else the final product will separate/ not be v solid . Also, it has to be wrapped in clingfilm or waxed paper to protect fr moisture in the air.

I bought this product so that I could make my own plant based soap with comfrey, nettle and lemon grass but it does not lather up. I do not blame the product because it is the first time I have tried making my own soap. Will update my review next time I make my own soap.

It’s great to be able to get a melt and pour African black soap. I was curious to see how it behaved. It’s nice and soft, with slightly uneven colour as this type of soap should be. It’s also a fairly light shade of brown. It seems to melt at a slightly lower temperature than normal melt and pour, with more bubbles. It also sets quicker so it’s harder to remove bubbles before setting. It works well for my moulded soaps though.

This was super easy to use and has made nice soap bars that have held they’re scent, ( advice for beginners like myself, make a double boiler either with pan of water and glass bowl or pan of water and metal jug, stir continuously and make sure you don’t let it boil as it won’t lather, take off the heat and then add the scent before pouring into moulds, hope you enjoy making soaps just as much as I have)

Anche se un po scettico perché di solito il numero e giudizi positivi delle volte sono legate a buoni ricevuti, ho pensato di acquistare questi guanti per provarli insieme ai saponi naturali dell'impresa TheSoapery.Da più di 20 anni nel periodo primaverile-estivo (Marzo-Settembre) sulla mia schiena (e delle volte sul petto) per colpa del sudore, si creano delle irritazioni/brufoli. Specialmente a Marzo/Aprile sento un fastidio perché prima della possibilità di usare magliette a maniche corte, si usano camice ed con il caldo si suda e sento la pelle ruvida sulla spalla abbinata al prurito.Negli anni scorsi il fenomeno si era ridotto per il fatto che cercavo di mettere le magliette corte il prima possibile ma soprattutto di andare subito al mare, dove l'acqua marina ha i suoi benefici. Purtroppo quest'anno con il lockdown, non è stato possibile andarci subito, ed ho dovuto fare i conti con i vecchi problemi..Così dopo che una persona sembra essersi messo da parte dei problemi e li vede ritornare decide di far qualcosa.Avendo usato il sapone di aleppo (buono ma che puzza) tempo fa, ho iniziato a fare qualche ricerca su Bolo ed ho notato che avevano un costo alto rispetto ai negozianti. Nelle ricerche ho visto in corrispondenza delle basi di sapone di TheSoapery che c'era convenienza nell'acquistare le loro basi di sapone con commenti positivi. Così ho acquistato il formato di 2 kg (ho preso 2kg al latte si capra e 2 kg di sapone nero africano a 20 euro l'uno - se pensate che una saponetta sta circa 9 euro), in più ho comprato da loro il karité pure grezzo pensandolo di fonderlo con il sapone però poi l'ho usato sulla pelle tipo crema.Che dirvi.. ho iniziato ad usare i guanti, prima, senza usare i saponi naturali e già ho notato qualcosa mai provato prima (premetto che in passato ho usato qualche volta la spugna ma solamente a vederla mi faceva schifo dopo averla usata poi in più si rigirava tra le mani tanto da non avere un effetto uniforme così non la usavo più..). Una pelle liscia, purificata, pensando poi che sono formati in bamboo che è una sostanza naturale a differenza di quelli in nylon...in pratica li sto usando sempre...Con l'abbinamento dei sapone al latte di capra e burro di karitè la pelle è ancor più idratata e liscia tanto da appiattire croste tolte per mesi (ogni giorno). Da ieri 29 Luglio 2020 ho aperto anche il sapone nero africano per provarlo sul viso con un effetto sapone/crema perché contiene karité al suo interno (non oso immaginare su tutto il corpo "sempre argilloso ma pulisce a fondo).Concludo dicendo che questi guanti e saponi (e burro di karitè con il desiderio di provare altri) li avrei voluti acquistare 20 anni fa perché oggi non mi sarei ritrovato con macchie da cicatrici sulle spalle e viso (meno) e problemi psicologici a farsi vedere dagli altri.E' arrivata la salvezza e non torno più indietro ne come guanti e ne come saponi.Buon acquisto

Super für empfindliche Haut. Geruch sehr neutral. Habe die seife weiter verarbeitet. Sie wurde zur weihnachtsseife und war super zu verarbeiten und mamorieren .Ein voller Erfolg. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
