bei mir funktionieren die Tests ganz unkompliziert. Zeigen auch zu erwartende Werte an.Da manche schreiben, es funktioniert nicht: wenn der Urin zu verdünnt ist (weil man z.b. wegen heilfasten viel Wasser trinkt) kann es sein, dass sie dann falsch negativ anzeigen, steht aber in der Anleitung, dass der Urin eine gewisse Verdünnung nicht überschreiten darf.Es steht auch in der Anleitung, dass die Werte im Urin und Blut wohl nicht unbedingt gleich sind. Laut Anleitung kann im Urin schon was drin sein und im Blut aber nichts zu messen sein.

Ein grobes (gutes) Schätzeisen für die Tage zwischen den Blutmessungen
Die Ketostix gehören ja zur Keto-Diät wie das MCT-Öl. Funktionieren tun sie auch einwandfrei, wie zich positive Bewertungen belegen. Nur an den absoluten Ergebnissen sollte man sich nicht allzu sehr aufhängen:Mal ein paar Beispiele meiner Ergebnisse: Links Ketostix, rechts Blutmessung direkt danach mit dem Ge-Keto Kickstart SetUrin -> Blut2 mmol/l -> 1,8 mmol/l6 mol/l -> 2,1 mmol/l8 mol/l -> 3,2 mmol/lDabei darf man eben nicht vergessen, dass mit Ketostix NICHT der Ketonwert im Blut gemessen wird, sondern der Wert im Urin, also der ausgeschiedene Ketonkörper-Überschuss! Der übliche Ketonkörper-Zielwert (1,0 mmol/l bis 3,0 mmol/l) bezieht sich aber auf den Blutwert. Also nicht in Panik geraten, wenn die Ketostix mal 8 mmol/l anzeigen. Nein, Ihr befindet Euch vermutlich nicht bereits in einer Hungerketose oder lauft gar Gefahr, eine Ketoazidose zu entwickeln. Sicherheit kann hier nur ein aktueller Blutwert liefern.Und genau dafür finde ich die Ketostix super: Als Ergänzung zur teureren Blutwertmessung (circa 1 € pro Messung) . Ich messe inzwischen täglich mit Ketostix zur Kontrolle, ob sich etwas maßgeblich verändert und dann alle Nase lang (4 Tage ... 7 Tage) den Blutwert, um das einigermaßen zu korrelieren. Die Kombi funktioniert für mich super.
