Purchased this same product a couple of years ago and it was fantastic. 2022 version is rubbish- basically like blu-tac. Do not buy
Insulation for old windows
This product was recommended by several people on Old House Facebook page. This comes in a variety of colors. I initially bought gray, but then switched to white as it matched the trim in my house better. This helped to fill the gaps around windows keep drafts out. It comes in a roll with several beads. It’s easy to break apart to get the width that you need as well as the length. I found it was easier to work with shorter links and press it in and continue it. I did find that after a period of time the caulk would lose its tackiness and fall off the window. It does not leave any residue and is easy to remove if you want to open the windows. But then you must reapply. I do think it helped a lot with the drafts. It’s a worthwhile investment for an old home.
This stuff is great
I used this to help seal off those annoying spaces between my window and the air conditioner that let in all the bugs and hot outside air. This stuff is moldable so it's easy to put where it's needed, whether thin spaces or larger gaps. Definitely recommend it.
