Dynasty Hardware Size 2 Commercial and Residential Door Closer, Sprayed Aluminum
The Dynasty Hardware 2000 Series Commercial Duty Door Closer is a great alternative for use on interior and light weight exterior door applications. Its compact design has the features and appearance of a full size closer but requires less space on a door for installation, and provides complete functionality for any opening. It is commonly used on projects that specify multiple interior door closers to address job conditions and budget concerns. They are excellent choice for hotels, condominiums, apartment complex and single family residences.
Level 2 Spring Tension rating. Aluminum alloy shell with sprayed aluminum finish.
Maximum door size 36-Inch. Recommended for interior doors. For use on doors between 55 and 100 pounds.
Parallel arm bracket not included in this door closer. This door closer can be mounted regular arm only as shown in picture above.

Great quality.
Working great. relatively easy to install. The two previous hinge-mounted closers from Bolo failed shortly after install. Wish I had bought this one to begin with. Live and learn.

I chose this door closer as it had the exact same dimensions as the one that was failing in my fabrication shop and it was easily as cheap or cheaper than other commercial door closers on Bolo. The current door closer was at least 12 years old and it had started to leak. This new door closer seems well built and just needed a little adjustment to the arm length during installation and it was already set up to allow the door to open/close perfectly. It also included all of the screws for installation.
Works great. Easy to install. The youtube installation instructions help.
Once you figure out the diagrams and mounting hole positions, it installed very easily. The printed instructions are a bit confusing, but there's a Youtube instruction video that helps (just search installation instructions for your model). You'll need a 3/16" drill bit, but you don't need a tap bit (despite what the instructions say) for hollow core metal doors, since the screws are self-tapping. Seems like a quality door closer so far- no more slamming door!

this solved the problem of my family leaving the laundry door open that goes into my garage. It has different settings on how fast it closes and the strength since different doors weigh different. Solved a big problem for me, no more yelling at people to close the door.
