Even when everything had settled days after partial water changes, vacuuming the sand etc; the water still didn't look great. (I do only change the filter media when absolutely necessary and normally give it a wash in the old tank water.)I spotted these cartridges on Bolo and thought i'd give it a go; not really expecting much. I put one of these into the Fluval U4 filter and within 2 days the water was clear! I think they're fairly priced and definitely worth a go!

Bought to add to my U1 filter and it works great. Was easy to insert as there’s a removable section in the filter sponge so this just fits right in there and it seems to be doing the job as the tank water is keeping lovely and clear.

Water has never been so clear. they are expensive though.

Although they do a good job there just too small and too costly. I used these once then switched to buying a large sheet of filter floss which I cut up and put in place of these. Water is crystal clear with both products but the filter floss is a fraction of the price

The media could not be loaded. Great value, fits perfectly into the filter and the water is very clear. Fish must be happy as we now have fry.

Clean and clean really does help keep the tank clean and clear
Awesome product, I find it doesn’t last 4 weeks but I use it in a turtle tank not a fish tank so that’s probably why! I would buy plenty more if you had more sales on them, full price is abit too expensive when for me they don’t last the 4 weeks!
