The set is made from solid plastic, not too heavy but not lightweight either. The stumps sit firmly in a wide base but could be pushed into soft sand without the need for the base. We bought the senior set and the bat size suits me at 6 foot 3 in and my 13 year old at 5 foot. The balls are heavy enough to produce a cricket ball bounce rather than a tennis ball bounce. 2 balls come with the set but I have bought a separate set of 6 as we will inevitably lose the odd one. The ball bounces well on garden grass that is not too long (the odd ball keeps low) and it comes fast off the bat with a satisfying thud if you time it. All in all a great starter / beach set that should endure.

Stickers were all hanging off on arrival won't last long. Shame for a brand new product.

Very pleased with this cricket set - the bats are very sturdy and the balls are excellent quality. Would recommend to everyone, either for playing at home, the park or on the beach.

I’ve always enjoyed watching cricket & during the lockdown I found myself watching The Test on Bolo Prime but never have picked up a bat or ball, I then found myself scrolling through Bolo usually buying very unnecessary items however this is by far the best purchase I have made in years, after practicing cover drives & yorkers in the back garden I am counting down the days until I can show case my new hobby & skills to my friends at the park with a crate of beers. Recommend to all leisure cricket fans.

It's a decent set for the money, however the only thing holding it back from 5 stars is that a couple of the plastic stumps were warped slightly which makes resting the bails on top a bit tricky.
