I saw this type of fire guard on an interior design website and was amazed to find one at this price on Bolo. It’s in front of a Victorian style fireplace with a gas coal fire. It was slightly wider than expected but it’s good because it makes the fireplace look wider too. It’s very sturdy. It has clean lines, looks chic, modern & minimalist but still in keeping with the traditional fire. You can clearly see the fire through the grille & it’s painted in a matte black. I love it!

I'm not exactly using this fireguard as intended but it's great as a dog gate! I was looking for something aesthetically pleasing but yet work as a deterrent to the dogs from getting access to upstairs! I have read previous reviews that mentioned issues with the handle but as you can see from the photos the handle is perfect. Quality is good and lightweight.

Really pleased with this purchase. The guard is of a simple but effective design and is good quality. We have a period fireplace which it fits perfectly and does not detract from the style. It offers good protection and yet the fire is very visible. Would recommend.

En plus d'être design, elle est vraiment efficace et chauffe vraiment très peu (et refroidi aussi très vite, quand on l'écarte le temps de remettre en bûche, elle est déjà de nouveau à température ambiante), elle joue donc son rôle de protection à la perfection, je recommande ++
