I was a little concerned by some of the reviews but worked really well. Stopped my hair from turning a lot darker like it usually does in the winter and instead lightened it to a sort of springtime look. I would say two shades lighter is probably about accurate.It took a couple of weeks to start looking noticeable but by the time I finished the bottle I was certain I wanted to buy again.My husband though thought it was working faster than I did.I've been using the shampoo and conditioner and was surprised it didn't trade off the general quality of shampoo/conditioner in exchange for the brightening. My hair is still as soft and clean as other products and the smell is nice too.The natural highlights of my hair are getting more extremely lighter but I think that's to be expected.I'd definitely recommend this product to a friend and will be making it my usual shampoo/conditioner.Also the yellow outside is pleasantly bright in my bathroom :)

Ok, ladies, John Frieda Sheer Blond Shampoo and conditioner have been lifesaver, go-to options for me during this lockdown!1) Very affordable;2) If you use the conditioner and shampoo together, they really work from the first time;3) Nice smell and texture;4) For extra lightening effect, I also got a heat activated spray of the same brand and after 3-4 applications of these 3 products I am no longer avoiding Zoom Video calls with clients!I hope this review was of help to you :)

Smelt nice, made my hair feel really soft and in good condition, used with the shampoo. I think I can definitely see my hair is lighter, though I’m not in natural light, so will wait for the morning and see how it looks in daylight. I’m pleased so far.Now used this for a few weeks and have now bought more, can definitely see that it has lightened my hair.
