I was immediatly pleased with the overall sounds of this pedal, to my taste's the overdrives are quite convincingly good, Ive had and got many multi pedals which are let down by the overdrives but not in this case ...Overall this ZOOM G5n has some great amp sounds if needed, with some great effects which should suite a lot of people, a little tricky at first to get used to the layout etc but soon got the hang of it.....Am very pleased with it

Previously had the G3XN (been a zoom user for years) & wantedto fit more fx in the chain which this does. This unit is slightly better user wise than the G3XN having 1 touch tuner pedal & 1 more effects physical pedal. I also like the master tone & boost controls. The stock patches are really good but i like to make my own up which is easy to do. It has allthe sounds & fx any one is likely to need. Another big bonus is the unit having a rhythm pedal which has many dtum patterns in (this is also on the G3XN) - most other manufacturers seem to not include this on multi fx & i think they r missing a trick ad its a great practice &song ideas feature - overall great product for the price

A very impressive multi effects processor. Countless combinations and custom potential. Easy to navigate the menu. No tiresome scrolling through screen after screen to find what you want. To buy all the individual pedals this rig has would cost a small fortune. Every effect is there for a reason. Nothing gimmicky, very professional and reasonably priced.My only criticism is that it doesn't have a decent shimmer effect, and the delay options aren't as good as some external pedals on the market. Apart from that, an astonishing effects processor.

Great preset sounds and plenty of space to create your own. I'm still discovering new features and how to use them. Reduces the need for other pedals and units.

No matter what I tried I couldnt get a sound I liked..and before you all get protective and fan boy ish...I have decades of experience with fx units..it just remained really brittle and lacking in warmth....I sent it back..

I was amazed at the quality of this product.I'm a guitar player for over 20 years, and you rarely meet at this money, an organic sound, full of life. Clean, overdrive and even distorsion very ok for that money. You can get high quality records with a little effort!
