Easy to use. I use it with my Drysoon dryer as the timer on it broke. Works as intended. Seems like a pretty sturdy piece of equipment too.

Good quality old fashioned style timer which is durable, easy to set up, and effective. Quite big and impedes on the adjacent plug socket on the extension lead but with a few swaps here and there it's manageable!Instructions fine but watched a YouTube clip to clarify how to set this up!

The timer appears to be well-made, quite robust and it works as expected. However, even when no load is plugged in, it runs very warm - certainly warmer than expected. There is one small area of about 1sqcm at the back of the timer that is actually hot to the touch. With no load the timer draws 10 watts which is more than I expected, I would have expected a draw of around 3 watts with no load. As I have a background in electronics, I think that this is a valid statement to make.I have another timer, a different brand but exactly the same style - mechanical, 24-hour, 15-minute ON/OFF segments. That timer runs at room-temperature when no load is plugged in; it is not warm at all.Recommend - Difficult to recommend. The timer works well but the very warm feel is a concern.Purchase again - Probably not. I will probably spend a bit more next time.

This 24hr segment timer is a very practical useful product that you can set items to go on at pre-set times e.g lamps/any home appliances/a heater/a fan/Christmas decorations/say even when away whatever you find works best for you & in this day & age it can be a way of energy saving. A great thing is it can be for those who don’t want something too technical a straight forward item that doesn’t need the internet etc like us. & it is very good for a disabled person who can’t get to lights/appliances etc so these can go on at pre-set times/or for their carers say so a light is on in the dark. It measures about 11.4 cm x 7cm x 6cm & is overall a great product, that can also provide security, deters burglars & can give the impression someone is home if that’s what you require. Told it is easy to set up, each black segment that is pushed down is for 15 minutes of the item being on. However we thought we’d mention that it might be difficult for someone to set if they have dexterity problems etc because fiddly the trying to try push down the segments so some may need it done for them. Another thing is to ensure the current time is set, told you do this by rotating the dial until the black arrow is lined up with the correct time we circled it on one of our pictures in blue. The great thing we like is you can set things to go/off over a 24hr period & if you need it to go on/off a few times a day you can. & told should you require to, you can override the timer meaning the plug will provide power continuously that you do this by pushing the switch up to the I icon on the side of the plug we circled it on a picture in red. When it is operating/in action the red LED light goes on, one thing we thought we’d mention is it does make a clicking noise as timer dial is moving hence the 4 stars & not the 5 but if it isn’t near you it isn’t too bad.
