Lovely looking toy. However, after reading the instructions, no batteries could be found. I had to buy a set of 3 point screwdrivers to open what I thought was the battery compartment. Only to discover that it was not motorised at all. Dissapointed by this. Please change the description Brio.

This was a birthday gift for my great nephew. I was a big hit and he loved it. Seems sturdy and easy for him to handle, and it fitted with some of his other toys.

My grandson has just had his second birthday, and is into Thomas the Tank Engine with a bang! Bought this toextend his play experience as he has inherited a bumper quantity of track and standard rolling stock. I thought this set would give him the opportunity to create a "Story". He especially enjoys the fire hose and ladder !!!Very good value for money, and will last through several generations of little owners.
