My hair is very fine and quite straight, and it’s hard for me to add lasting volume, especially when it’s cut short. It tends to just flop down and lie flat on my head after a few hours of being out and about. This product is the best solution I’ve found so far: it’s easy to apply and adds wonderful volume and texture that lasts all day. The hold is decent but not rock hard, so can be reshaped but doesn’t fall out of place easily. It also works well when my hair’s on the long side, so it’s a great all-rounder. I love the smell, but understand that it might not be for everyone. It washes out easily. It has a matte finish, so if you want a bit of shine I’d recommend finishing with a tiny bit of pomade at the end.

Never usually leave reviews on Bolo but:Bought this item two years ago and have been using daily since. Best for fine, straight hair which has been blow dried and then needs clay to lock in. Using a pea-sized amount will provide best hold and also allows you to still run fingers through your hair throughout the day. I came from using gel and this has truly changed my life. Completely matte product and smells great. Made the mistake of thinking the product doesn’t work in the original months I had bought it but that’s because my hair was too long and heavy. For the men, go a little shorter on the length and get regular cuts to ensure the hair doesn’t fall down after you have styled it. 10/10 worth the money and would definitely buy again. The product has lasted me two years and it’s definitely a brand I’ll be sticking to and using for the future. Their other products such as the oil and mask are also great. Product is down the bottom of the plastic tub after daily use for prolonged time.

There's so much to like about this product. It's a pleasure to apply and style your hair in to place and leaves a lovely natural looking matte finish with no greasiness at all. The hold is great on my short hair, and I can re-style with my hands throughout the day as necessary. I also appreciate how easily it washes, rinsing out with just water so I don't have to shampoo every day.The one thing preventing me giving this the full five stars is the scent. Or more specifically the strength of the scent. It actually smells quite pleasant in the jar but once in the hair I find it way too strong for my liking and it really lingers. I feel quite self conscious when wearing it, especially at work in an office environment. There's no way I could use this as my 'go to' daily product which is such a shame as it performs so well in every other aspect.

I am constantly looking for the perfect styling product. I have short, now naturally grey (currently bleached & dyed pink, approx. an inch or so in length at crown) cut into a pixie cut.Hair is in good condition, not dry, broken and its reasonably thick (ish). I have it thinned when cut so it doesn't sit heavy on my head when i have it short (think lego hair!!)I like a product that adds texture to tame my fluffy just washed hair but I dont want wet look or spiked.i generally have found that salt sprays, spray wax, gels do not work for me - either useless or wet look.I find matt pastes seem to work for me - but i find so may different consistencies that its difficult to try new products without being let down.Probably my favourite is label Ms, matt paste - but it has become soooo expensive & as i use so little, becomes dry (i did buy a larger pot though last time) i was looking for an alternative.This is currently in use and would buy again. It smells nice, only use a small amount, can re apply & re work without drying / clumping and gives a natural texture. I havent found it leaves any residue and isnt sticky - soo far, so good

I moved to this hair clay after using Hanz de Fuko Claymation for many years. I don’t know what happened to that product but it changed and was not performing the same. Th Moroccanoil clay has been amazing so far. It is easy to wash and does not make the hair sticky. It’s not greasy and allows for a natural look. First day I used this clay alone after hair drying my hair, I have fine hair low/medium length. It was very tuggy when applying and even when I ran my hand through my hair throughout the day. The hold was 6/10. Made my hair look dry. Second day I tried my usual styling, I applied shea moisture leave in conditioner right after shower while hair was damp then I hair dryed then I applied a few drops of hair oil the same technique you would apply the clay then finally I used the morrocan texture clay last. With this method the hold lasted all day and my hair looks silky and so easy to run my hand through my hair. For £19 I expected alot better.

Jest to moja ulubiona pasta do włosów, a wypróbowałem ich wiele. Pasta jest raczej z tych o mocniejszych chwycie. Jej wielką zaletą jest to, że pozostawia włosy matowe, tak naprawdę nie widać, że ma się coś na włosach. Pasta nie posiada mocnego zapachu, co dla mnie jest akurat zaletą, jednak czy to plus będą decydować indywidualne preferencje.
