Description:
The SIGMA 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary large-aperture standard lens gives owners of mirrorless cameras the opportunity to experience the fun of shooting wide open, with F1.4 brightness. Photographers will enjoy the beautiful bokeh effect that only a large-aperture lens can offer and the exceptionally sharp optical performance expected from a fine prime lens. Leveraging SIGMA's latest technologies and design insights, this new lens fulfils the concept of the Contemporary line, in which varied elements come together in optimal balance. A prime lens with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 45mm and F1.4 brightness, it offers an angle of view very similar to human vision. The photographer can use the shallow depth of field at wide-open aperture to take stunning portraits and table top still life shots. A member of the high-performance Contemporary line, featuring SIGMA's latest technologiesFor optimal balance with light, compact camera bodies with a short flange back distance, SIGMA designed the new SIGMA 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary lens to be extremely compact. Moreover, the special design of the focus lens group allows fast and smooth AF performance for videography and more. This lens combines a compact design and comfortable operation while prioritizing outstanding image quality. Featuring SIGMA's latest technologies, this lens digitally corrects optical distortion. The front lens element features high-refractive index, high-dispersion glass for extra power and a shorter overall lens length. To optimize the lens for mirrorless cameras, two aspherical lens elements help ensure outstanding image quality and overall compactness. The SIGMA 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary features SIGMA's inner focus technologies, while lighter lens elements in the focus lens group make possible a more compact actuator. Moreover, this lens offers outstanding stability whether the photographer is shooting handheld or has the camera placed on a surface. Structurally, the lens features materials and parts that contribute to its compact, lightweight structure. In summary, this is an unprecedented lens that combines outstanding optical performance with exceptional portability and usability. Image quality rivalling that of our Art line lenses The large-diameter lens with F1.4 brightness makes possible a shallow depth of field for a beautiful bokeh effect-unavailable until now in a standard lens for mirrorless cameras. In addition to featuring an optimized layout and power distribution, this lens incorporates one aspherical lens element and one double aspherical lens element, as well as an element made of high-refractive index, high-dispersion glass with high anomalous partial dispersion. By effectively leveraging these technologies, the lens delivers an outstanding level of light to the edges of the image while minimizing lateral chromatic aberration. To correct distortion, the lens takes advantage of the image correction capabilities of the mirrorless camera body, using the corrective power of the optical system to enhance sharpness. The final result is an extremely compact lens that delivers image quality that rivals that of our Art line lenses. Shallow depth of field for a beautiful bokeh effect The large-diameter lens with F1.4 brightness makes possible a shallow depth of field for a beautiful bokeh effect-unavailable until now in a standard lens for mirrorless cameras. The 9-blade rounded diaphragm creates an attractive blur in the out-of-focus areas of the image. Fast and smooth AF By incorporating a stepping motor, the lens offers exceptionally quick and quiet autofocusing performance. This feature is especially useful when using the camera to take videos. This lens is also compatible with Sony E-mount Fast Hybrid AF. TSC used for a more compact structure and enhanced performance Since new material Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) is highly elastic, it exhibits minimal deformation. Parts made of TSC are therefore less prone to develop gaps between each other over time. The SIGMA 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary features a lens barrel and aperture parts made of TSC, which contribute both to the compactness of the lens and the smooth functioning of the aperture system. TSC helps increase the precision of cells holding lens elements and parts related to the focus lens group, further enhancing lens performance. Please attach a USB Dock to your lens' mount part, just like you attach your camera to the lens. Please use the supplied USB Cable and connect to a computer which has the dedicated software “SIGMA Optimization Pro” installed. For further information on how to operate the product, please refer instruction manual of “SIGMA Optimization Pro”. As long as the computers have the dedicated software “SIGMA Optimization Pro” installed and have an internet connection, you can change your computer and still operate in the same environment (excluding history of connected lens feature).

5.0 out of 5 stars A must-have m4/3 lens....with an advisory
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I have recently switched to Micro Four Thirds from Four Thirds, and this lens has been the best thing about the move. Lives pretty much full-time on my Olympus OM-D EM10 Mk II (a great camera of itself). When I bought that I also got the Olympus 25mm f1.8.....an excellent lens in its own right, if there's a difference between that and the Sigma it's in the latter's colour rendering (I like full, rich colour and the Sigma deivers that in spades, maybe a little saturated for some tastes). And images are pin-sharp 9.5 times out of ten.The Sigma is a much bulkier lens than the Oly, but on the EM10 it adds substance to the overall look and feel of the camera in use. On the EM-5II it looks pretty standard, and is equally a joy to use.The advisory......reading about this lens online brings up references to a tendency to focus-hunt, even stopped down and in good light.....have to say I have seen this on the EM10 and it can be distracting. I will check it out on the EM5 as well. What appears to eliminate it is to set the camera to S-AF/MF, though I will monitor this aspect of performance. I can see that for some it would be a deal-breaker - it isn't for me as the all round optical performance is that good, and I'm finding 30mm a better focal length to work with than 25mm for everyday, carry-around use (though in a bag rather than a pocket given the size of the lens). On Olympus cameras the lens firmware is updated with the lens in-situ, and I'm using the most recent version. It's not a consistent issue, but it is a noticeable one, and hopefully there is a fix somewhere down the pipeline. I'm looking forward to the 16mm f1.4 version of this lens, and it would be a shame if that were similarly afflicted. But if you have an m43 camera, this is a lens you really must have. The focus issue is the only slight downside....in every other respect this is a lens you are likely to become seriously attached to. Go and enjoy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic lens
This is the first sigma lens I have owned and love it. Fantastic quality easy to use. Quick focus Speed image quality as unbelievable, nice and light and compact
4.0 out of 5 stars love it
i love this lens, i bought it to record youtube educational videos. it crops in a lot unless you have a big space to film where you are not sitting very close to the camera
5.0 out of 5 stars Whoa!
I toiled with getting either this, the Sony 35mm OSS, or a Laowa Venus optics 0.95. I'm happy with my choice as it is superb overall for the price. Its a little sharper than the Sony, but no OSS: and that's the tricky decision I had to make. In the end I decided on the Sigma as I had purchased a camera stabiliser, and the footage with the stabiliser is free from jitters despite having no in-camera stabilisation at all. The stabiliser takes a little practice though. I was very close to getting the Laowa for its buttery f0.95, but I'm glad I did not, as manual focusing while the camera being on a stabiliser would have been tough. F1.4 is still excellent for Bokea and low light. Autofocus on the Sigma seems fast enough, even if a little slower than the Sony.
5.0 out of 5 stars Wow
I've attached a couple of unretouched, straight-from-the-camera examples that hopefully show the sharpness and bokeh of this lens, in low and bright light. What's great about the Sigma 30mm f/1.4? Firstly it's sharp and bright! I was able to get pin-sharp results handheld at night with just a table lamp in the room. Secondly, it feels like quality; with nice weight in the hand and is reassuringly solid to the touch. The focus ring turns like butter: perfect. Value for money, this is a no-brainer: the Sigma lens is easily as good or better than more expensive alternatives. My only possible question about this lens is the bokeh, which I'm still trying to make up my mind about. Purely subjective of course but is it a bit busy in bright light? Overall, this is a definite "buy" if you are looking for a very good quality lens with a bright aperture and don't want to spend a mint.
5.0 out of 5 stars SIGMA saved the EF-M Mount
No matter the camera everyone needs a 50mm or "nifty fifty" equivalent focal length, its a jack of all trades. Bought this for my Canon EOS M6 II mainly because there are few lenses that do the 32MP resolution justice. The lens gives great separation and delicious depth of field at f/1.4 even on a cropped sensor camera. With the f/1.4 aperture its a king in low light and holds up well.Never have you had to worry about sharpness from a SIGMA lens, its on point throughout the aperture range. Chromatic aberration is barely present in most images, but easily removed in Lightroom later if needed.Autofocus is equally comparable to the speed of the Canon equivalent lenses, absolutely no issues with tracking or accuracy.I couldn't fault this lens. Even though its the mid-sized lens out of the 3 SIGMA Prime line up, it honestly does not feel large or uncomfortable in reality.Don't waste your money on the Canon equivalent that is nearly twice the price, you're in good hands with SIGMA.I'll be investing in the SIGMA 56mm f/1.4 very soon.
5.0 out of 5 stars Upgrade to kit lens
After lots of reviews and YouTube videos looking at a lens to upgrade from the 18-50mm kit lens, I decided to go for the 30mm 1.4 sigma prime and all I can say is WOW. This is the fastest apature lens I've ever owned and I can say the difference from the kit lens 3.5 apature to 1.4 is incredible. I chose the 30mm as its the cheapest of a the 3 sigma primes and is the best all round for me. It works perfect with my Sony A6400 and I have had no issues with auto focus like in some reviews. This really does take your photos to a different level. The fast apature makes low light photos much easier and in good light allows you to bump your shutter speed to collect sharp images. The only thing I have noticed is its noiser than the kit lens when auto focusing but for me that's being picky and as I don't do a ton of videos it's no issue. I'd highly recommend this lens as an upgrade from the kit lens.
Top 3 Micro 4/3 prime. Very sharp, shallow DoF, and beautiful bokeh
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Micro 4/3 (MFT) systems have quite a few affordable and very good lenses, both Panasonic and Olympus. However when looking for a large aperture (f1.4 or larger) lens that's sharp and with shallow DoF, things get a bit complicated. Our options, with autofocus, are:Panasonic Leica Summilux DG 25mm F1.4 for USD 519.99Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 25mm f1.2 PRO for USD 1,199.99or this lens, the Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary for USD 339.00Granted the Olympus has superior optics, is weatherproof and more solidly built but its 3.5X the cost! However the Panasonic Leica cannot claim any of those and is still a good USD 180 more. The only weird thing about the Sigma(and this depends on your needs) is its 30mm (60mm =) focal length. This makes it harder as a walk round lens but is actually more adequate for portraits. In my case it suits me fine as I'd rather have a 17mm (35mm =) as walk around lens.If you have a MFT system you should give this lens a try.
This Can Truly Be Your One and Only Lens!!
If you're looking at this review, chances are, you already know what it is, what it's capable of, and what it looks like in terms of photography. It's extremely versatile, being 45mm Full Frame equivalent. Yes, sometimes I wish it was a bit wider, but only sometimes. It's perfect for landscapes, portraits, street, product, low light, star trails, you name it, it can do it. With f1.4 you can achieve good bokeh depending on how far your focus point is of course, and from f2.8 onwards the sharpness is just immaculate. My review may make you think that sharpness is poor when your aperture is wider than f2.8, but that's not the case, it's still very very good, and more than enough.I have included a few samples. Enjoy. Oh, and don't take it out in a sandy area with loads of wind. The lens mount doesn't have a gasket protecting it from dust or sand.
The price is fair for the quality!
This lens creates such stunning, creamy background blur that it immediately became one of my favorites for portrait photography. It’s sharp where it needs to be and soft in all the right ways.Lightweight, easy to use, and perfect for capturing natural-looking moments.Absolutely worth it for any photography lover!

This lens creates such stunning, creamy background blur that it immediately became one of my favorites for portrait photography. It’s sharp where it needs to be and soft in all the right ways.Lightweight, easy to use, and perfect for capturing natural-looking moments.Absolutely worth it for any photography lover!
Fiyat - Performans
Sony aps-c için aldım. Fiyatına göre performansı oldukça üstün.
