Nice syrup, doesn’t seem very strong flavour. Not tried this brand before but gave it a go due to price. I usually buy monin hazelnut or caramel and they are quite strong in flavour. Less syrup needed = less cost and less sugar consumed! Maybe vanilla in that brand isn’t very flavoured either but needed quite a lot in my latte to taste. Will try other flavours in this brand to make comparisons but in a nutshell I don’t think this has much flavour.

Perfect balance between price and taste (quite a rich flavour for not only this but also hazelnut and caramel varieties from what I gathered), sure there are tastier ranges out there but also more expensive, i.e. moonins (as used by other highstreet coffee stops), I suggest to try this perhaps as an introductory syrup before purchasing a more expensive brand and compare! Can also put them into smaller bottles (need to buy additionally) for daily travel purposes as I often do! Other flavours by the same company are also available~ Best to experiment and see for yourself!

Tate and Lyle Fairtrade Vanilla Coffee Syrup, 750mlI've tried quite a few different brands of Vanilla Coffee Syrups.All have been good the big difference seems to be the brand and the size.I found that both Vedrenne and Monin were excellent and although cheaper I found this Tate and Lyle just as good.The only difference is that this brand is much better value and cheaper.Like quite a few people I was introduced to these coffee flavourings after trying them out at the Big Brand Coffee shops.The main brands seemed to beThe trouble is that the cost is quite high at the big Supermarkets, normally £3.50 for a 250ml bottle. I used to get mine when the price was reduced to £2.99. (see the moths coming from my wallet).It was either that or nothing.Then there are a quite a few varieties.So you need to ensure that not only the price is right but the flavour too/A quick search on Bolo and I found quite a few on offer.This one by Tate and Lyle is well under around a fiver so roughly double the cost of 2 bottles of the expensive stuff BUT you get 3 times as much.
