My apparently 'sturdy' metal measuring cup broke when I used it to scoop out a cupful of sugar from the big sugar pack! I had only used it lightly for a few years and you expect metal kitchenware to last longer than that. Thus quite disenchanted with supermarket quality, I searched for a solution online. I immediately liked the look of this set and ordered it.I can safely say that I love this addition to my little kitchen and have now discarded my old metal measuring cups and spoons (or what was left of them). This nesting set is made of smooth plastic, a tad flexible in the handles but sturdy nevertheless. Instead of any loops/links holding these together, there is a tiny groove in the handle of all the set components. As is evident by the pictures, all the pieces nestle into one another and softly click into place with a press at the groove. You do have to pry apart the set to get to the component you need, but it is quick and easy.The major plus is that you no longer have to have two sets of measuring tools (spoons and cups) in the drawer. Rather, it is one neat compact colourful set that is easy and practical to use.Time will only prove the longevity of this product, but for now, Joseph Joseph have produced a very practical addition to any kitchen that is a joy to use too. Highly recommended.

I love the bright colors. The cups are well made and snap together nicely. The problem is the size markings are impossible to see. They need to be printed on more boldly.

Another great quality, well thought out Joseph Joseph product.I ordered these for my partner who loves baking. She often finds recipes online from the US and everything is measured in cups so wanted a nice set of measuring cups (as converting to cups can prove problematic depending what the ingredient is).Visually, these cups are great - very vibrant but also functional, as it's easy to distinguish between them at a quick glance. If however, you prefer something more 'toned down', there is a range of muted colours also available.The plastic is good quality and the cups themselves are easy to use and store nice and compacted (they handily 'snap together' so they aren't just floating around loose stacked up).I would definitely recommend these for the baker in your life!

I was worried the measurements might be hard to read, but the markings are clear enough once you get used to them. The cups snap together well and take up very little space in my drawer, which is great for my small kitchen. Compared to other sets I’ve tried, this one feels more organised and easier to store. The range of sizes covers everything I need for baking and cooking. I’d happily recommend it if you want a tidy, reliable set that does the job.

I have had these measuring cups and spoons since 2016. I have probably used them weekly since then. I have to say that they are very good.They are lovely colours, very easy to clean and take up very little space in the drawer.

Das Messlöffel-Set ist eigentlich für die deutsche bzw. europäische Küche eher untypisch, durch das Internet kommt man aber auch leicht an amerikanische Rezepte, die, besonders bei Backrezepten, gerne mal das Maß "cup" verwendet. Wer ein Litermaß mit Angaben zu Mehl, Wasser und Zucker hat wird bemerken, dass die Volumenverdrängung der verschiedenen Zutaten unterschiedlich ist - weshalb die Umrechnung der cup/tablespoon/teaspoon-Angaben amerikanischer Rezepte nicht das einfachste ist. Glücklicherweise gibt es mit diesem Messlöffelset einen günstigen und platzsparend zu verstauenden kleinen Küchenhelfer.Die Messlöffel sind gut zu handhaben und leicht zu reinigen und können durch das praktische Klicksystem im Griff platzsparend zusammengeklippt aufbewahrt werden, sodass nicht 8 Löffel durch die Besteckschublade klappern.Die Löffel werden in einem kleinen Karton geliefert und riechen neutral, kein Kunststoff/Chemie-Geruch. Sie sind stabil und farbecht und haben keine scharfen Kanten. Die Größen gehen von 1 Cup über 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/4 cup, 1 tablespoon, 1 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon bis 1/4 teaspoon (250-1,25 ml).

Penso sia una delle migliori cose che abbia mai comprato, seguire ricette americane non è più un problema. Utile anche per ricette nostre in quanto ogni misurino riporta anche i ml.
