I found that if you add the hot water and then your scoops and use a small whisk to whisk it all around together it blends perfectly! No lumps and clumps just a smooth formula for baby to drink. Hope this helps.Has really helped my baby with colic and constipation he brings up his wind a little better now and he poos without the constipation. Dirty nappies and very stinky poos but a extremely happy baby :-)

I hardly ever write reviews but thought if this helps another mum and bubs out there I may as well!I was anxious about getting this as lots of reviews say it leaves clumps and is slimy, but seeing your little one in pain will make you desperate to try anything that promises to help.We use a prep machine and prepped bottles as follows:- Press for hot shot- Put scoops in- SHAKE (you'll end up with a liquidy paste)- Press for rest of water- SHAKE IT!!- Tilt bottle so you can see the bottom and make sure there's no residue (if you shook it well enough there won't be any!)Yes, it is a thicker formula, so we sized up a teat too. We've only given 3 feeds so far and our little one is already so much happier (after a well needed poo).Please don't be put off by the bad reviews, this might just be what your bubs needs, it really helped us!

My 8 week old was uncomfortable and fussy pretty much since she was born. She’d poo every 3/4 days, was always red in the face and never looked relaxed. I’ve switched to the SMA comfort and can’t believe the change in just two days, she’s like a different baby! So much more relaxed and happy.It is a thicker formula so I add the scoops to the hot water and shake it really hard for thirty seconds, then top it up with the cooled water and shake really hard again. It’s always been smooth with no clumps left in the bottle.I’d 100% recommend this if you suspect your baby is struggling with colic.

If you add the scoops slowly, by gently adding each scoop in a few shakes of the scoop. Then shake bottle and there will be no hard blobs. Tried and tested

We no longer buy from shops!Always so hard getting these special formulas from shops, quick n easy to order from seller. The formula itself is thicker powder so yes is harder to breakdown however in saying that all you need to do is give it a good shake and leave it a few mins before giving the baby, anyone who can’t get rid of the clumps I’m unsure as to why you have a baby - they are much harder lolMy baby has a dairy allergy and this formula is the only one he can tolerate!!

At first I thought it helped my baby with constipation, colic and etc. but afterwards things changed to bad side and she started to have diarrhea and was "fighting for life" every time she had to poop. Also we used tommee colic bottles with slow teats but it was hard for my girl to eat due to formula being to thick for slowflow so we had to change to medium flow even though she is just 5 weeks and medium flow is for 3+months babies. Almost forgot to mention that her poo smell was horrendous too so we are looking for alternatives and we say bye to sma colic formula unfortunately
