    If you are Vegan or Vegetarian this is a good flavour enhancer for sauces and vegan dishes. I use it as I have a fat intolerance so it is better for me.

    I was deeply disappointed with the item when I saw the date. As a result, only 3 stars. However I had opened the packet prior to seeing the expiry date. I hadn't tried it though. A refund was quickly and efficiently supplied by Bolo. Many thanks Bolo.As I have decided to leave a review, I felt that I at least needed to taste it, since there's a star question above on flavour. A small taster was enough to be able to say that the flavour is very pleasant, although a little mild with a hint of cheese, however the flakes are wonderfully crisp and crunchy, seriously yummy. The milder flavour may be the result of the date, but possibly the flavour increases once added to food. I'm sure these flakes will enhance anything they are mixed with without overpowering the food or drink. They dissolved very easily in the mouth. I will re-order with the hope hope of receiving an appropriate sell by date My usual purchase is Braggs (American) and they give much more information on what is NOT contained in the nutritional yeast. Useful. Their BBF date is 23/04/2022. Can't really comment about that timeline in connection with this Whole Earth packet, The product is made in Estonia and is Non GMO.

    I am amazed by how good and healthy this product is! I am buying again for sure when i finish this bag. You can use these flakes to add flavour just about for any dish. For the veggies lovers out there and not just for them do try some cauliflower popcorn: wash the cauliflower and rip it in small pieces (or cut it), add a sprinkle of: salt, sweet paprika, 1-2 spoons of melted butter (or rapeseed oil or olive oil) and about 2 full spoons of yeast flakes (for a small cauliflower). I don't eat any more regular popcorn since I found the recipe and I really hope you can try these flakes with other recipes as well as they are amazingly healthy and tasteful.

    I sometimes buy other nutritional yeast but always come back to this. It has B12, a nice umami and creamy flavour and makes a lot of dishes shine.

    I got into using 'nooch' while in the States but it has been hard to get here in UK so I was pleased to find this product, these flakes are good and very tasty. I think this nooch is one of the best available, however I have only given 3 stars for a good reason. The delivery charge is very high, especially as delivery was slow. While I was waiting I discovered that a very similar and equally good equivalent is available in my local area and it is lower in price, possibly because there is a large university here. If I subtract the high delivery charges from Bolo and then add local bus fares it works out as half the price and just 2 miles away.
