Unfortunately most taste awful. Grenades Carb Killa range are the exception that proves the rule. They are a substantial snack bar that come in 12 flavours (my current favourite is this white chocolate and cookie dough, closely followed by the white chocolate and peanut) and all of them cast great. They have managed to avoid that dense, tasteless plasticky material that a lot of protein bars use to provide substance without adding calories, and as such the bars are so good you may find yourself sneaking an extra one into your gym bag. Most of them are less than 220 calories per bar and provide at least 20g of protein. I would definitely recommend them as part of your workout regime. I usually munch mine in the car on the way back from the gym. Recommended.

Great taste, low fat, reasonable carbs. Nice crunch to add some texture unlike other protien bars that have the texture and flavour of a lump of plastercine.I could eat the whole box in a day! The only downside is that it gets expensive if you eat one or more a day.

These are fantastic, you couldn't tell this was a high protein snack, these could pass as a regular delicious chocolate bar.
