Bought these as part of an arts and crafts set for a niece. I loved these when I was at school myself and saw them and simply had to buy them for her. Brilliant price and delivery. None were broken and I love the little colour name slip. The only thing I did to secure the colours before wrapping and guiding was put some folded tissue paper on the tin to stop them fall out of their slots. Only possible improvement. Hope she loves them as much as I once did.

Not bad considering the price, but some of the colours are too pale, not enough piglet in them, the white block is grey with flecks of other colours so no use at all. But for fun and basic painting, not a bad set. No brush included but i had ordered a compkete set to go wiith this.

So, I'm new to watercolours and have been reeeeeeeally struggling to get the consistency right with my wet water colours - so frustrating and like ZILCH info on the web - and thought I'd give the dry paint a go, although I was not prepared to spend a fortune on materials when I'm a flit hobbiest 😂😂 anyway, I'm really pleased, they're simple to know how to use! They are a bit chalky but I quite like how they dry! Love the colours.... Not sure why I needed 2 dark browns and midnight blues though hah, but whatever, beggars can't be choosers!! I'd recommend giving them a go, depends what you like I suppose?

Amazing value for money! I’m really surprised to read some of the negative comments. Yes the blocks of paints had slipped out of the plastic sleeve, but I just popped them back in again! Even if they’re broken, just wet them and they still work!! Not the end of the world! Although annoying if you want to give as a present I do admit.Asides that, the colours are vibrant and highly pigmented and easy to work with. You can’t go wrong for the price.

Definately recommend this for beginners ! Ive been using this for years ! It was my first actual watercokiur set ive used and i havent used anythig since because I just this the best! I have all the colours i need to mke any sade , colours are pigmented, the palette itself is amazing for the value and lasts a long time. No matter how little or more water you use the product applies lovely on paper, watercolour paper and cartridge paper!
