I got this album after seeing the band live supporting yob and I dont think I have ever been so impressed with an opening act . First off the drummer is one of the best I've heard in years. When you realise he doesn't use double kick you will be blown away ! He is insane and this album really showcases what a talent this guy is. When you listen to this it is almost impossible to believe there are only two members of this band they really are that heavy. Anyway what does this album sound like? Well the best reference would be the equally awesome high on fire but the vocals have a more old school thrash sound but some of the parts have almost a death metal feel thanks to the lowness of the riffs ( I believe the guitarist uses bass amps ) and the sections of blast beats. This is truly original and this band really needs to be heard by everyone that condsiders themselves an underground metal fan . If you are sick of the state of mainstream metal and bored by the glut of sub par slugde doom bands jumping on the flavour of the month trend , then buy this . You won't be disappointed

Black cobra
Ultimo trabajo de los norteamerikanos black cobra. Muy en la linea de su anterior trabajo, Invernal, en cuanto a riffs; ahora bien la producción es superiror. BC siguen evolucionando sus etiquetas de doom/sludge al thrash/hardcore en la onda de bandas como prong, blast etc. También hay un trabajo técnico importante a destacar, rivalizando en el mercado con los vektor( a mi personalmente me gustan mas BC) por poner un ejemplo. Riffs mal sanos y furiosos, técnica perfecta, bc nunca defrauda. Hits recomendados: imperium simulacra, challenger deep, fathoms bellow..

disque plutot efficace avec une nette amélioration du son de ce groupe , les batteries sont bien en avant et les filtres sont très moderne.gros son bonne claque. enjoy!

Two piece bands are not what they used to be. There is no missing element and Black Cobra are no exception. Two guys can rip the faces off of an audience as well as anyone. This album received two back to back plays from this headbangin' old man and will find many more on this turntable!
