This one arrived yesterday. Played some classical Cds on it and sounded good - used with my own headphones. Having used an old Sony walkman before this was just as good: buttons hard to read but it’s all about how the music sounds. No complaints there, perfectly good. So far so good

First of all I have to admit that the quality of sound is good, even better that the former Sony I have used for many years.But I wanted it to play audio books that I obtain from the library, and for which this CD is absolutely useless! For it does not 'remember' where it was last stopped, that I find absolutely unbelievable. I use it when such as walking the dog - I live well in the country a mile from a road, so don't have problems not hearing traffic, as some people complain! - and such as when doing a job around my property.This means that I stop it from time to time, but then have to attempt to find where I left off when starting again, which is absolutely useless. It is obviously made for playing music, but even then I wonder how people carry on from where they left off.So I have once again resorted to audio tapes, that at least stop and then start in the right place. And perhaps will use the Groove when I want a bit of music. My big complaint is that the manufacturers should state there is no 'memory' with the thing.Tom Crossley

Having just bought one of these I find the eject mechanism stiff to operate and volume level even at highest 32 is still very low-hopefully this will improve.Otherwise seems a good item for the money.

This Personal CD Player, is great. I bought it in the Blue/Black. It is good looking. And the sound quality, is crystal clear. Also it goes very loud. As I have a portable speaker, to plug into the side. I can then turn it up even louder, on my speaker volume control. The lid lifts up as it should. So it is easy to put a CD in and out of it. It takes 2 AA Batteries, which go in the battery compartment, underneath. Overall I recommend buying this. It arrived very quickly. Within 3 days. Boxed and well packaged. Great Seller. Recommended.

Don't buy. Low Quality and not Working.
I purchased this item and returned it back as it has a malfunction and does not run audio CDs. Also, the casing is very cheap and of low quality.
