It really did darken my eyebrows. I was pleasantly surprised.A few things to bear in mind in additon to my video review.If you usually shape your eyebrows, make sure to shape them at least a week before doing the tint. Alternatively, do the tint however bushy your eyebrows, then get them shaped after the tint. Either way, give your eyebrows area at a few days to a week to settle down before working on them again.I will definitely be buying this product again.Remember to wash the eyebrow area with soap and warm water afterwards. Pat dry. I recommend you apply some type of cream, gel or moisturiser after you wash the area to calm the brow area down. Avoid over exfoliating the brow area immediately after the application as it was irritate the skin and possibly undo the work you have just done.It's definitely hard to say how long it really does last for as I had just completed the application before writing this review.

I have naturally dark thick coarse brows and I like to tint them, as I find it tints the baby hairs for a better shape. Normally I pay lots of $$$ for a brow lamination, tint and shape. In an effort to cut down on price, I decided to pay to get them shaped, but I would start trying to laminate and tint them myself because every 6 weeks becomes quite pricey. I decided after reading the reviews to give this a try. I found this stuff worked like a dream! I followed the 2-step instructions exactly. I did one brow at a time, as per the recommended instructions. Before I began, I placed Vaseline on the skin around my brows. I applied the colour (step 1) in the shape of my brow, being careful not to go over the shape of my brow. I took a Q-tip and wiped any excess off around my brow to ensure it was the exact shape of my brow and I let sit for 2 mins, as per the instructions. I wiped off all of the colour with a cotton wipe after 2 mins. Then I applied the gel activator (step2) following my similar steps in step 1. I let the activator sit for the recommended 2 mins and wiped off with a cotton wipe. I found the gel activator (step 2) is what stained my skin, so it’s VERY important to ensure you shape it in the shape of your brow. No one wants Bert’s brows from Sesame Street. I did have overly dark brows for 2 days before it started to fade to my exact colour. I like the colour they are now. It’s been a week and the colour has stayed quite nice. I think when I go to do it next time, I would leave the activator on for 30 seconds to 1 min, so it doesn’t stain my skin as bad. The box contains enough for 3 applications, but each application comes in it’s own pack and you get quite a bit. I think I might try saving the dye and activator in separate little tiny container pods and see if I can get more use out of them.
