I own a few of these and they compare favourably to other similar sized hatchets. It lacks the nail puller of my Stihl branded equivalent, and the trendy orange and black of my Fiskars axe.It’s better than either of them, not least because the axe head cover can be attached to a belt and the axe enters from the top, so it won’t come loose and fall out (potentially chopping your foot).The profile is quite wedge shaped and thus it’s really best as a splitter. I use mine primarily for splitting larger logs down to kindling sized sticks. It’s perfect for this with enough weight to split the wood, but compact enough to be accurate and precise. You can cut with these (as in limbing, cross cuts etc), but they’re more useful as splitters. It’s a good size for cleaning up branches, say to build a shelter or make a walking stick, as little flicks of the wrist can remove any shoots and loose bark easily.For the excellent sheath design, good build quality and nice handle I’d give it a five star rating! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Perfect size for splitting wood blocks down to size for firelighters. Nice weight. Only fault is lack of grip compared to the bigger gardena/husqvarna range. Some tennis tape will solve that problem.

Used this hand held short version for felling silver birch trees in my garden, going to burn logs so not wasted...this axe,like most, arrive without a honed edge.This is not an issue for this wee axe, straight cut and angled cuts are perfect, made short work of those trees. Easy grip shaft..All in all a very good tool to have, also doesn't take too long to put an edge on it with a sharpening tool or stone.this will last a lifetime...fantastic product and a reasonable price..

light weight well balanced and blunt as a ducks bum. did the job of cutting through tree roots with some effort.good peace of kit but could of been a lot sharper as it does have a protective housing.

För finklyvning av större mängd ved rekommenderas en lite lättare yxa.

Preis-Leistung passt. Wird Stumpf ausgeliefert, lässt sich aber sehr leicht sehr scharf nachschleifen!

Ich habe das Beil für meine Outdooraktivitäten, zusätzlich zu meinem Fiskars X5 gekauft.Zugegeben, ich war etwas skeptisch, aber ich muss sagen ich bin sehr zufrieden. Wie beim Vorgänger wohl auch, ist hier die Beschichtung über die Schneide drüber gezogen. Das Beil wird Stumpf wie ein Kindermesser ausgeliefert. Nachdem ich das Beil ballig nachgeschliffen habe, durfte es sich durch guten einen halben Meter Holzscheite knappern. Ich muss sagen, ich bin zufrieden. Es macht seine Arbeit vollkommen zufrieden stellend. Sollte sich an meiner Meinung etwas ändern, lasse ich Euch diese hier zukommen.Produkteigenschaften:Der Griff ist aus einem Polymer, sehr leicht und innen hohl gehalten. Ich empfinde ihn als griffig und robust. Er ist größtenteils sauber verarbeitet, dennoch sind abstehende Kannten zu finden, welche man mit einem scharfen Messer gut entgraten kann.Die Verbindung zum Kopf erscheint solide. Diese zeigt auch Gratkannten, es ist einfach eine industrielle Fertigung, anders ist der Preis aber auch nicht zu halten. Ich habe das Beil für 20€ hier erstanden, für den Preis ist das Beil super.
