I needed to use mine for a short trip on Christmas day. After clearing ice off the windows, I got in, turned the ignition and nothing but a clicking noise. No one available to help, so I was unable to use the car that day. Thinking on the problem, I realised that for the past few weeks I had been using the car for work with the lights, heaters, dashcam, satnav and radio all on, followed by 5 days of only using the car twice for 1.5 mile trips to the local shop.Having intended to buy one of these boosters a while back for emergencies, I ordered a NOCO Boost Sport GB20 from Bolo (the cheapest NOCO model because my car is only a 1.2 litre, so well within the specified "up to 4 litre" range.The product arrived promptly, but unfortunately comes with only about 1/4 charge. The manual says to fully charge before use, which I estimated at 3 hours given the USB charger I was using.After the 3 hours were up, I clipped the leads to the battery, turned on the unit, gave it 30 seconds, crossed my fingers and then turned the ignition - it started first time. I ran the engine for 15 minutes and will try the car again in the morning when I can give it a good run without needing the headlights on. If it doesn't start again then I have the booster ready in order to get it started and get to a garage for a new battery.I really wish that I had bought one of these a year ago (as I was going to do after helping a work colleague jump start his car). From now on, this is going in the boot of the car and coming out every weekend for a recharge, just because it will give me peace of mind.Compact and very easy to use. Really pleased with this purchase.

My car is less than 3 years old - 3 weeks ago, the battery failed and I had to call the AA (being an automatic, getting someone to help me bump start it wasn't an option) as I was not at home at the time. Having then done a 2 or 3 longer journeys, it was a bit of a surprise to me when it failed again last week. I felt a bit off about calling out the AA so soon after my previous breakdown, so decided to get the jump leads out and deal with it myself. Except my jump leads seem to have gone walkabout.So that decided me on getting a battery zapper. However, many of the products I looked at had mediocre reviews to say the least. As a person with disabilities, I need a product that I can a) carry without too much difficulty and b) won't let me down when I actually need to use it. So, I decided to spend a bit more than I'd originally budgeted to buy something that didn't weigh almost as much as a car battery itself and had better reviews.The zapper duly arrived 2 days later and having charged it (it took about 3 hours to charge fully from my laptop) took it out a couple of days later to get the car started. And it took me longer to read the instructions than it did to get the car started. The crocodile clips are seriously sturdy and it took me a bit of time to actually get them attached to the battery at the relevant point, but my car started in 30 seconds or so. And I'd barely touched the charge in the power pack.The pack itself has some useful functions and I was waiting on a power cut over the weekend so I could test them out. The USB port for charging other electrical items isn't essential for my needs, but it could come in handy. The torch on it is seriously bright, there would be no chance of a person not being able to see using it. The charging cables are short, but it turns out that they're long enough to do the job required.And the pack doesn't weigh so much that I need to use 2 hands to lift it - something that has to be taken into consideration when one isn't very strong.The only thing that lets it down is the nasty nylon storage bag that comes with it. However, I'm sure I can make a better cover for it, in time

I literally never write reviews but this thing is so perfect and exactly what I was hoping it’d be that I had to give it 5 stars.I bought a Honda CBR600RR and as I park it on the street I decided to install a GPS tracker on it. Works great but if I don’t ride the bike for a few days the battery will be completely dead. (I’ve probably installed the tracker wrong, I have zero mechanical experience, which should be another plus point of how easy this battery pack is to use)Battery kinda dead: you hook it up to each terminal with the supplied clips, turns on instantly.Battery completely dead: there’s a safety feature that won’t let you press the boost if it can’t detect a battery, if you know it is hooked up you can just override that by holding the button and bam, works instantly.I’ve had to do both a couple times and honestly it’s so easy. One of the most spot on perfect products I’ve ever bought. I carry it in my backpack when I’m riding just in case I need it.It’s so easy to use. It takes me longer to undo the screw on my seat to access the battery than it does to turn the bike on with the battery pack.5 stars but I’d give it more if I could. Also I charged it to full power when I got it as instructed and it’s started my bike multiple times so far and I’ve not had to recharge. There is a battery indicator so you’d know when it needs charged anyway.

I've been keeping it charged up in my backpack for the past couple years but didn't end up having to use it until this week when my bike was gonna leave me stranded. It worked like a charm and got me back home.It seems to hold its charge very well and I only plugged it in every couple months to top it up but it probably didn't need it. The only downside I have noticed is that in my backpack it can sometimes get bumped and turn its flashlight mode on, which drains the battery. I think that has maybe happened twice and luckily I noticed it before the battery had completely died (at which point the flashlight would turn off and you'd have no idea it was completely dead). Just be careful how you stow it so that you don't accidentally find it drained when you need it most.

Da mein Roller ab und zu nicht angesprungen ist, weil die Batterie zu wenig geladen wird, habe ich mit das Noco GP20 angeschafft. Nach Lieferung müsste das GP20 erst vollgeladen werden. Danach wurde der Roller gestartet. Gerät ist solide verarbeitet. Funktioniert ohne Probleme. Tut was es soll.
