They taste like the comb has just been uncapped, the honey spun out and gone straight from the centrifuge into the jar, Live, unfiltered, unpasteurised, raw. Just as nature intended.I used to keep bees, and having been lucky enough to be able to 'rob' them of some of their stores after the Spring and Summer 'flows' on most years, I reckoned I could tell a good honey from an indifferent one.These are enviably good honeys, beautifully produced in the 'old fashioned' way.Linden Blossom...Oh, my word, I wasn't expecting this! This honey is fresh. So fresh, that although it's starting to granulate, it's still a soft, buttery set. When you open the jar, you can still smell that wonderful fragrance of the beeswax comb the honey has been extracted from. This is a stunning Summer flow honey. I can definitely taste limeflower, (Linden blossom is just the more poetic name for limeflower, nothing to do with lime fruit). The bees have been making good use of the lime blossom and there's plenty in there.I'm sure I can taste sunflower too, as well as blackberry blossom. Well, this beautiful honey is so fabulously floral, just bursting with Summer flower nectar.Blueberry,Lingonberry & Cranberry....This again, is amazing - a darker, spicier honey than the Limeflower and a totally different taste. Still the same soft, buttery set with the fragrance of freshly uncapped comb, but a real whack of fruit blossom, less floral, more juicy with almost wine like notes, and typical of honeys produced by bees working on plants flowering on wet, acidic soils. Its truly lovely.I've actually never tasted honey quite like this, it's like some kind of alchemy.For once, I am speechless.March '16 update: I've just received a repeat order of this Blueberry honey, and it's just as lovely. I'm looking forward to the 2016 harvest.Buckwheat blossom..A dark, buttery set honey, again with the fragrance of a freshly uncapped comb. This honey has a soft, fudge like taste, with notes of red clover and sweet chestnut. It's good. Would be a perfect partner for sweetening fruit puddings and using instead of golden syrup in recipes for a massive flavour boost. If I was going to make mead, this buckwheat one is the honey I'd choose.I'm amazed that the beekeepers of Lithuania could bear to part with even a drop of this honey, but I'm very glad you did.Thank you guys, and your bees.

It was well packed and arrived safe. I never tried raw honey or buckwheat honey - a bit worried after reading some feedback. I understood that crystallisation is a proof of quality and about 1/6 on the top of my jar had crystallised hard layer (my honey was harvested in last summer of 2023). The honey colour is how it looks on the item description photo. The honey has tangy scent as described though I never had experience with it before. But I would not say it is overwhelming. The taste is earthy & sweet; texture is not as runny as "pure honey" I used to buy from supermarket. I found pairing this honey with cinnamon works very well - enhances the sweetness but almost unnoticeable of the unique scent; also I tried mixing it with raw apple vinegar drink I make - works fine. I did not use honey for apple vinegar drink before but I found there are some health benefits so I shall see!

The honey had crystallised and the texture was horrible !I bought this as a gift and the recipient was really disappointed.There is no way this honey is going to be eaten ! Its a kilo jar !!Last time I ordered honey from this company it was delicious.. smooth, creamy and light. THIS jar was sugary and super SUPER sweet :(I was about to treat myself to a jar too but now I shan't.Even more disappointed that I can't get a refund or replacement.Edit:Following on from my disappointment I connected Baltic Honey direct who were fantastic!Their speed of response to my complaint was impressive. They acted quickly and replaced the honey with a different variety.The honey came very well packaged and in a glass jar , which I love.The taste of the honey is great.The excellent customer service has meant I will remain a customer with Baltic Honey Shop.Thanks again for your excellent service !

A lot of honeys are so sweet you lose any taste of the honey. I have bought this honey for over a year now and would not buy anything else. It is difficult to describe. If it was a red wine it would robust. So full of flavour, texture and not too sweet.

In bocca da la sensazione di qualcosa di setoso e spesso.Ha una consistenza grezza, decisa e vi giuro sembra appena tirato fuori dall'arnia.Avete presente quella sgradevole sensazione che da il miele comune? Che dopo un pò tende a disgustare?Ecco, con questo miele e sembra incredibile, non esiste.Vi giuro, mai provato niente del genere e a questo prezzo.Non do quasi mai cinque stellette ma questo prodotto se le merita tutte. Spettacolare.

Also erstmal ging die Lieferung angenehm schnell, hat zwar paar Tage gedauert, aber muss ja auch die Entfernung berücksichtigen.Produkt kam , wie ich finde, ganz gut verpackt an. Der Honig an sich im Glas(kein Plastik), in einem kleinen Karton welche innen mit Styropor versehen war.Ich habe den Honig für uns Zuhause gekauft, weil ich sehen/schmecken wollte, wie sich Rohhonig zu herkömmlichen Honig aus dem Laden verhält.Also wir haben den Geschmack Obstgarten genommen. Ich muss sagen, er schmeckt aufjedenfall anders, als einer ausm Laden. Ich finde ihn Geschmacklich ganz gut, mein kleiner scheint ihn auch zu mögen, meiner Partnerin jedoch nicht^^Zur konsistenz muss man halt sagen, er ist fester, als Honig ausm Discounter oder so. Jedoch ist er nicht hart, sondern eher wie vllt ein Brotaufstrich?!^^Alles im allen bin ich soweit zufrieden mit dem Honig und werde vllt die anderen Sorten noch testen. :)

Miel brut Naturellement Délicieux

Ce miel est une tuerie je n'avais jamais mangé un miel aussi doux aussi fondant avec un vrait goût de miel léger et délicat en bouche légèrement sucré et légèrement parfumé je ne pourrai plus manger un autre miel certes il y a une petite légère odeur de fromage un peu fort c'est que on n'a pas l'habitude car il est vraiment naturel et brut mais c'est vraiment pas dérangeant du tout contrairement à d'autres commentaire que j'ai vu mais ce n'était pas le même miel peut-être un peu trop fort celui-ci est vraiment très très doux c'est du caviar juste que j'ai pris le dernier pot de un kilo et j'espère vraiment qu'ils vont le réapprovisionner parce que je recommanderais celui-ci amateur de miel bio ne cherchez pas plus loin merci Bolo encore une fois des produits que l'on peut pas trouver en France..... je reviens refaire un commentaire car j'ai commandé pour la deuxième fois ce miel et je peux vous dire qu'il est exceptionnelj'ai même l'impression qu'il est meilleur que la dernière fois il n'a il n'a pas il n'a pa il n'a pas ce côté granuleux ceci dit comme il y en avait plus entre-temps j'ai commandé l'autre marque de la même qualité miel naturel brute celui avec le petit chapeau en tissu certes il est très bon un petit peu plus liquide et un petit peu plus sucré mais rien à voir avec celui-ci car il a pas ce côté très doux fondant en bouche on a l'impression de manger un nuage de miel ceci dit à usage thérapeutique c'est vraiment excellent pour la santé une cuillère le matin dans de l'eau chaude avec une cuillère de vinaigre de cidre 2 pommes c'est excellent pour la santé s'enlève l'acidité du corps que demander de plus merci Bolo pour pouvoir avoir un miel aussi exceptionnel

Was auch immer das ist, es ist auf jeden Fall kein honig. Er riecht sehr sauer für Honig und wurde definitiv zu hoch erhitzt. Nachfragen blockt der Verkäufer ab. Ich kann nur abraten, bei mir hat schon ein Tl zu Halsschmerzen geführt
