Most popular consumer brands that advertise anti-dandruff properties always have a fine print. Usually it's "reduces visible dandruff". That's because they lack meaningful quantity of any active ingredient that helps with dandruff.After suffering from dandruff for years; Nizoral is the only non-prescription anti-dandruff shampoo I've found that works. I've been using it for a couple years now, once a week. Sometimes I feel like my dandruff has just gone away buy missing Nizoral for a couple weeks, like when on holiday, gives me the reminder that nope, its still there but the shampoo does its job.Highly recommended to try and see if it works for you.As the packaging says, it took about a month of regular usage to see results.

This is the only product that actually works on my dry flaky head. Its the only shampoo I know of that has the active ingredient Ketoconazole. Its pricey but worth it, lasts much longer if you wash your hair first in a gentle shampoo first then again with Nizoral as its more of a hair treatment rather than a cleaning shampoo.
