A reasonable balance of air flow and heat on all 3 settings, however setting 1 for me is a bit too weak, and setting 2 blows my hair around too much. It's not too hot and it's not too noisy. The nozzle rotates easily without sticking, and doesn't get too hot to touch. Overall I am fairly pleased with this. I can't comment on durability as I have only just bought it. I think it could reasonably be used for travelling as it's not particularly large or heavy. I would prefer it if the wire was a foot or two longer, as I like drying my hair standing up, and sometimes it needs to be plugged into an extension lead where the socket is laying on the floor, but that comment applies to most hair driers other than full saloon professional ones.
