They were 35 years ago and they are now. Never experienced any problems.

great for the price takes a long time to paint and assemble like mostmodel products no glue or paint included how ever this plane operates from cornwall to theisles of scilly and around canadaandyengland uk

The item arrived on time and in perfect condition. The kit itself is one of Revell's better ones although it does seem to be from quite old moulds as little bit of filler was needed in places. The finished model is actually a decent size. You have three choices of landing gear: wheels, skis or floats. I made a Canadian rescue version with floats which were a nightmare to attach. The finished model looks great though very pleased with it despite some fitting issues on building which were overcome with a little patience and perseverance.

Leuk model om weer te beginnen.
Leuk model om weer te beginnen na tal van jaren. Was vroeger heel fervente modelbouwer; pvc. houten & metalen modellen, ook vliegende en varende modelbouw doch plaatsen waar je deze kan en mag besturen zijn steeds schaarser in België zonder vrij ver autorijden (milieu bewuster geworden) en liever geen mogelij-ke hinder bezorgen aan (lastige) buren.Vriendelijke groet,Eddy Michiels, België.

Very pleased. Not easy to find this model.The company could make the pontoon braces easier toninstall by providing holes rather than indents in the cast.

This is the only 1/72 scale model kit of the the Twin Otter. It was originally released by Matchbox in the early 1980s and the tooling has been used by various kit manufacturers since the demise of Matchbox. I have built several and despite it's age it is still a good kit.The interior consists of a reasonable representation of the cockpit; the passenger cabin is just an empty space, but not much would be seen through the cabin windows anyway. Wheels, skis and floats are included as well a 2 different noses, allowing just about any Twin Otter to be built. The decal sheet has markings for Canadian Armed Forces & West Coast Air aircraft and includes the instrument panels.The kit has a few inaccuracies, most notably the cockpit windshield which is represented narrower in width than it should be, but this does not detract too much from the overall kit, which certainly looks like a Twin Otter. After market decals are available for both civilian and military operators.Il s'agit du seul kit de modèle à l'échelle 1/72 du Twin Otter. Il a été initialement publié par Matchbox au début des années 1980 et l'outillage a été utilisé par divers fabricants de kits depuis la disparition de Matchbox.
