What is ultrasound gel and why do we use it?
Ultrasound gel is a water based gel and is used for all types of ultrasound examinations in the fields of obstetrics, vascular and cardiac. Ultrasound gel is typically clear and thick, but it is not uncomfortably sticky. When it is applied to the skin, it doesn’t dribble or drip off. It adheres to the skin lightly until it is wiped off at the end of the procedure.

I use this with my electronic face massager, so that it gets through the layers of skin, as the massagers don't work without it as serums don't conduct to get deep into tissue as they are supposed to.

Those ultrasound gel are my second purchase and I use in conjunction with my micro-current routine. They are not sticky on the face and easy to remove after treatment completed. The gel is incredibly light and easy to apply over the skin. One bottle will last a long time and very good value for money. Can’t fault them and highly recommended!

I bought this gel to use with my new Foreo Bear microcurrent device. (I did not wish to be out the expense of other branded microcurrent gels) . Whilst it is great value i do experience mild but noticeable static "zapping" from the device when using this product and the Foreo Bear on full intensity which is a bit unnerving? For clarity, i had been using Foreos own conductive gel where there was little to no zapping so i believe i can give a fair comparison. That aside i will get used to it and will continue to use the gel until its gone and ensure i slather on a really thick layer!Maybe I will try aloe vera and salt next?!
