I always use this Vit-D oil and rarely get sick. It was recommended years ago by a very knowledgeable naturopath and I've used it ever since. I'm in my 60's, unvaccinated and might get one slight cold a year at the change of seasons. It supports my mental health, immunity and sleep cycles. A bottle lasts me a few months taking one or two drops a day. I also have a little Vit-D in my iron and Vit-B liquid. It's such an important supplement, really worth getting a good brand like this.

Bought this for my 80 year old mother who has a very delicate throat so finds tablets hard to swallow. She also has many intolerances osteoporosis and an auto immune condition so cannot have any nasties, this is really pure and I love the fact that it is in extra Virgin olive oil, it was the only high dose liquid D3 with nothing added in EV Olive oil that I could find. She takes 3 drops a day, 6000iu total since she has dark skin and doesn't go out much. D3 supplements must be taken with vitamin K2 to prevent toxicity and shuttle calcium to the right places, roughly 100mcg per 1000iu of D3. Vit K2 has no upper limit so is quite safe unlike higher doses of D3. MK4 is the best form in my opinion, despite lots of talk about MK7 having a better half life etc...if you are taking it daily it doesn't matter! MK 4 is the one used in the Japanese studies where osteoporosis decreased with use, it's the only one that crosses the brain barrier and the only form found in breast milk and the placenta so it suggests our bodies prefer it. That said there may be a place for other forms like MK7, MK8 and MK9 to perform other roles in the body so no harm including them. Carlson and Throne are good for high dose MK4 but a Vit K Complex with added MK7 and K1 also fine: Something like Vitamaze K Komplex, Life Extension Super K, Innovixlabs Full Spectrum.

I purchased this at the end of May 2022 and its use by date is April 2023, giving it a shelf life of less than a year. The last bottle I purchased - from my local health food store - had a shelf life of two years. This bottle contains 240 doses (of two drops per dose) but because that is a very high dose, it is not recommended or necessary to take two drops every day. That means that even if the product was taken every other day (which would still far exceed any recommended dose) it will reach its use by date before I've had a chance to finish the bottle. This is immensely annoying and leaves me feeling short changed. The box - which it's best to keep the bottle in so that the contents are not exposed to the elements - has had a big sticker applied to one side; the sticker obscures some writing and can't be removed without damage because it's not an easy peel sticker. I purchased this product from Organic Bargains UK, fulfilled by Bolo.
