The scent is lovely, it is so pleasant and smells like orange citrus sweets. Very good at removing make up and does not leave the skin feeling greasy or any residue. A little goes a long way and is perfect for double cleansing. Nice and mild as well as gentle and does not irritate the skin or cause any issues. Good consistency which is not too thick or thin. Highly effective cleanser and I cannot praise this highly enough, will definitely buy again in the future.

I bought this oil on the strength of the very positive reviews, some of which certainly gave me the impression it would be suitable for dry skins. My skin is not ridiculously parched, but a typical post-menopausal dry skin. As such, I found that this oil was not rich enough ( also, very runny, so be careful ), but left my skin feeling dry and tight. Lovely smell, though. PS: I have upgraded the rating from 2 star to 4, as I find this oil very refreshing to use as a skin wash in the morning and it gives my skin a lovely healthy glow to start the day. I then follow my skincare routine with more moisturising products. I was expecting this oil to be wonderfully moisturising for older skin, which it isn't, bit it certainly has its place in my skincare routine for its wonderful aroma, gentle cleansing foam when applied with wet hands and the afterglow that it leaves, probably due to the Vitamin C.

I've been using this cleansing oil for a while now as my morning cleanse. The scent is citrus and whilst strong is very invogorating and puts me in the perfect mood to get up and go. This oil has a lovely slip to it so little is needed, it feels lovely on the skin and breaks down oil, dirt & even heavy make-up with ease. I even use on my eyes with no irritation. I then wet my hands and massage in and it emulsifies into a very milky texture beautifuly. I finish by gently wiping with a warm face cloth. I don't feel the need for a 2nd cleanse like with some oils but that isn't saying you couldn't if you'd like to. It isn't drying and doesn't leave any film. Instead i have lovely clean, soft skin that looks awake. I have used many high end cleansers, balms etc and this is up there with the best of them and much more cost effective. I will be buying this again and again without hesitation. If i was to give any criticism it would be to the bottle itself. although it looks great on a bathroom shelf, being clear i believe opens up the contents to be exposed to sunlight which can harm the effectiveness of Vit C so I've heard and also the lid feels as though it could snap off. However i have never found it messy to use as some reviews suggest. It does not drip unless squeezed, so i would say open, turn to pour then squeeze gently to get the reqiured amount, stop then turn bottle back upright and close lid. Simple! No drips, no runs just a nice clean bottle.

I love this cleanser - it’s so effective. It removes every last bit of make up and/or spf easily with minimal effort. I don’t find it stings my eyes when removing eye make up/mascara. It emulsifies well too and rinses off well. I always double cleanse so will follow up with a different second cleanser.It’s a lighter oil, not thick or gloopy but does exactly what it claims too. On sale at £8 it is brilliant value for money and lasts a long time as you really only need a small bit.My skin feels smooth and hydrated afterwards. It does have a light citrus scent - I personally love this and it’s not an irritant for me. For me it also makes its feel slightly luxurious. The bottle lid being a flip lid makes it easier to handle as you can quickly click the lid down after dispensing a bit into your hands.This is a product I routinely use and while I try other cleansers from time to time I always comes back to this one as I know it will get the job done and is good value for money.

I would give 4 stars if I like the scent. It is reasonably priced and it does the job of taking off makeup well, but this type of citrus scent reminds of me of toilet cleaner. But this is just my personal opinion, this could be pleasant enough for many. I am just very fussy and sensitive with smells.

Ik heb een heel gevoelige snel rood wordende huid. Deze creme smeert lekker en trekt snel in. De roodheid is ook minder geworden. Hij ruikt ook nog eens heerlijk. De huid voelt verzorgd en niet vettig.
