Individually wrapped makes it easier to grab some to go. Sugar free but be careful of sweeteners. Some have a negative effect on your digestive system. They are very nice though and not too strong.

I mean, what's not to like... peppermints from Lancashire?!I have kept a supply of these on my desk at work for years, and I'm happy to introduce anyone and everyone to them. Every so often you hit a pocket of peppermint, and it properly clears out your sinuses. They're great for sore throats, bad breath, or just to stop people talking for five minutes.The 2 kg bags are great value, and mean we won't run out for a couple of months at least.

I discovered these on a trip to the Lake District many years ago. They are one of the few mints I can eat due to dietary constraints. These are also good if I'm feeling a bit nauseous.

The sweets themselves are good. They have pnly 3 ingredients - cane sugar, oil of peppermint + cream of tartar - so are as healthy a sugar based sweet as you are going to find.The problems seem to be with this larger size + the very small boxes that Sellers will try to pack in.There was also a problem with a relatively short BB date of 5 months with the last Seller. By contrast, in stores the BB date is 11 months.If you order, I would therefore suggest you check the BB date on the Seller's stock.
Old school British candy
My dad used to eat these when he was a kid - they've been around for a long time. They're actually very good and I've gotten hooked on them as well - simple ingredients. I try to keep my dad stocked, he won't be around forever and he loves them so it's a small thing to keep him well supplied, happy to be able to get them in North America. I'm sure I'm one of the top customers for these.
