Made in Scotland, sold in clear jars! Thankfully still tastes exactly like the original North Buckinghamshire recipe l remember so well. Always miles better than Colman's but I'd be biased considering Taylor's used to be made in my hometown.

I'm not myself a fan of mustard. I bought this for someone else. They said it was not massively strong, barely a match for "normal" jars like Coleman's. So for the price I can't recommend.

I haven’t tasted this but it is not in a ‘normal jar’, the label was badly stuck on and I have never seen Taylors in anything but a black jar. The colour looks more like french mustard! Also, although I paid over £10 for 400g (2 x jars) only one jar received so not as advertised or as ordered.EDITI have just upgraded my review to 4 stars. Although I still received a different product to what was advertised in the listing image (and received only half the amount I ordered which was later resolved by Bolo CS) I have subsequently checked on Taylor’s own website: These types of jars are actually listed on Taylors as ‘new jar’. So this is apparently how Taylor’s original mustard is now being packaged, which is a shame because I actually liked the traditional jars. Anyway, I hope this edit was helpful and that if viewers do get a ‘fat’ clear jar, it is probably just new stock coming in to Bolo and in fact, the black jars are now out of stock on the Taylors website so it looks as if they are phasing them out all together. Bolo may need to update the product image to reflect the new jars to avoid future confusion I think.

I had been having Taylor’s Mustard for ver 30 years when we moved and the More northern supermarkets said the did not stock or worse they had never heard of it.Fortunately I found a stockist in Mansfield and have been happy ever since.
