Durable and a great visual! It is not too small and not too big therefore it can easily be transported.

Durable plastic. Big enough to see clearly. Has been dropped by children multiple times and hasn't cracked yet.

This is a fairly priced hour Glass for its size. Seems sturdy enough and made of plastic to avoid shattering.The only thing I’d change is the sand colour being the same green as the exterior. The sand should contrast with the green plastic, and stand out more visually

Use it every day with kindergarteners

In our After School Program, we use this colorful timer for our "Chill Out" (i.e., rest) time, for "Time Out", for rotating centers, etc. It is the perfect size to enable both teachers and kindergarteners to easily view the bright green sand mark 5 minute segments. So glad to have found it. Tried a smaller size and that did not work as well for our group, which averages 25 kids.
