I've been buying Kirkland chocolate chips for making chocolate chip cookies for the grand children for years. No the product isn't anything up-market but is better and cheaper than other chocolate s=chips which seem to be available in small quantities at several times the price. Each time I buy the Kirkland brand, the quality seems to be the same. Cooking chocolate lasts a very long time in the cupboard (store in a cool, dry place, preferably in an airtight container) so I always bulk buy it. Having it in chips makes it much easier to use than a block of chocolate, which needs to be chopped up anyway if you're melting it to make brownies.

2 kg of good quality semi-sweet chocolate chips, perfect for baking. I added these to my waffle mix and they came out perfect - next up, chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. If your recipe calls for semi-sweet chocolate chips, then these are the ones to get. Just be mindful it is 2kg worth which could be a lot depending on how much you need.It does come in a strong resealable bag which is very handy and the packaging is easy to open. When I say resealable, it is the press top closure that works, not the useless piece of tape.

American chocolate chips, a good size and good value. There is a pleasing chocolate and Vanilla hit as you open the bag, like breaking the seal on a new jar of coffee! They are semi sweet, so have more of a dark chocolate taste, not dissimilar to Hersheys.English chocolate chips in the supermarkets are small and tend to melt when baked, these chips hold up well in comparison. I do prefer English chocolate for taste, but on the whole these are fine. I will mix with some sweet chips I think.The bag will last ages, if you have lots of cookies to bake, really good option.

Purchased these several times for cookies that require a higher melting point chocolate chip. They retain theirshape and consistency at baking temperatures. I will continue to use them for various baking needs.

Having 3 children, I am always baking. They love chocolate chips in their cookies and muffins. It is difficult to find anything bigger that 100g in stores, so this is the perfect product. I love the taste as they are not too sweet. Great product and good value for the amount you get.

J'en suis à mon deuxième paquet, et je rachèterai encore cette marque.

Before discovering this giant bag of chocolate chips on Bolo, we tried so many different make-do substitutes on German grocery store shelves - and they all failed. Either they were waxy, or too expensive and came in a tiny box, or they wouldn't melt satisfactorily, or they were horribly bitter, or they were a pain to use - I had even resorted to chopping up chocolate bars!
