Good speaker very loud
A great Purchase
I absolutely love this sub! For the size it is it can throw some serious bass. If you put a decent amp to it this thing It adds a great depth of sound to your music. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to install a sub in there vehicle. I had a pre-made box that was ready for this to just drop in. Great product, great quality and most importantly great sound.
Works better than expected
Put it into specifically for it designed band pass box. Very clear defined bass and quite loud. The only discrepancy is 4 Ohm, it is dual voice coil each 4 Ohms. So it could be 2 or 8 Ohms...
Bad design
bought 2 return from Bolo looked like new one was working perfectly the other one was broken only one voice coil was working the e-z impedance selection is bad i don't recommend this product
Very impressed
I bought this sub because I wanted to round out my system with a little bass. Boy was I surprised, and in a good way. I replaced two mtx Terminator 12 inch subs in a sealed enclosure with this single 8 inch sub in a sealed enclosure that I built for it. It's hooked up to a class D pioneer amp at 2 ohms getting a solid 300watts RMS. This single 8 inch sub out performs those two mtx subs. The bass is cleaner, goes just as low, is more accurate, is just as loud, doesn't ring in your ears, massage worthy. Based on this sub alone I'll never go back to 2 12s. Everyone I show thinks I have two giant subs in the back and are amazed it's just this little 8. IMPORTANT: I have this installed in a hatchback. I believe if this was in a trunk of a typical car you would need two of them to get as loud as two 12s. The box I built for this sub is about 1.1 cubic feet. I would buy this sub over and over all day long.
