It’s spicier than your regular chili powder, so a little goes a long way. The quality is great and the color is really nice too.

I use chillies everyday. I have tolerance. But I must say, this one here got me by the cojones. My head broke into a sweat, that's when I knew it was time to call the london fire brigade. In all seriousness, I have no hesitation recommending this chilli powder. Some performance. Good value for money.

As with a lot of the feedback on here regarding herbs and spices, if you use a lot of them its really not economical to keep replacing from the supermarket shelf. I eventually got fed up with that so went for bulk. Great flavour and I no longer run out and have saved a small fortune already.

Lordy, lordy if you usually use supermarket chilli powder in your cooking take care with this gear.Just done a radioactive Turkey and Blackbean chilli, usually use two tablespoons of chilli powder in for nice mix of heat and flavour. Used two tablespoons of this, crikey O Reilly I did ponder at the cooking stage if I’d slightly over done things as I experienced strong asphyxiation in the kitchen whilst knocking up the mix and the rest of the house started coughing violently, even those upstairs.Undeterred, I opened a window and cracked on. Some one hour later and now coughing like retired coal miner, I served up my hard crafted work, horse me it was hotter than the surface of the sun, tried adding copious amounts of greek yoghurt to give my gullet some respite, to no avail. I’ve never eaten lava but I imagine it’s on par with this stuff. Our Myrtle couldn’t shift it and the kids couldn’t manage more than a thimble full.As the chef I obviously had to finish my whole portion and there’s a numbness in my tongue now I’ve never experienced before.Please spare a thought for my hoop tomorrow morning after my morning constitutional, think we’re going to need the 12” version of that Johnny Cash classic in this house tomorrow. You have been warned.
