I have irregular cycles and they could be anywhere between 28 days - 36 days. Started taking the tests 5 days after period ended and got my positive on the first one! Only had a dark line for one day and the rest were faint then about 2 week later tests began coming up blank in the test line. So assumed they were dodgy and hadn't worked. Period never came so took one of the pregnancy tests provided with the kit and got a full blown positive!! These are so useful if you have irregular cycles! I had a 36 day cycle before this and last one before that was 29days. So I assumed I would ovulate late in the month but actually ovulated straight after my period finish just goes to show you can never really know.

Ovulation tests where simple to use. I made sure I took 2 teats a day (one around 10am and one in the evening) from day 11 in my cycle, the line presented faint around day 14 and got darker day by day. This helped me pin down that I ovulate on day 16-17 which is late in a 28 day cycle. Defo recomend using these to help work out your ovulation dates.The pregnancy tests are good. I tested 5 days before my period was due and got a negative result, then tested again on the day of my period due date and got a very very faint line. I then tested for 3 days after, the positive line got darker though the week.Have been trying for 7 months and these defo helped me work out when to do the deed ๐คช๐

Used these and got pregnant, I would say that you can sometimes get a v.faint line if left even 1 min longer than recommended, but will get a positive if you are..

These tests are a disgrace, they are not normal pregnancy tests and the concentration of hcg needs to be very high to pick up anything.They are for IVF etcWomen may be using these and wrongly thinking theyre not pregnant and continuing with a lifestyle dangerous for pregnancy.

Fantastic ovulation tests, I'm curently trying for a second child and never used ovulation tests before. I started testing just after my period, onece in the morning and once later in the evening, I got one single line up until about 5-6 day before I ovulated and a second line started to appear, it got darker every day up until my most fertile day when the second line appeared much darker than the First test line, I know I was ovulation that day because I had ovulation pains and my cervical mucus was watery. I haven't tried the pregnancy tests yet but hoping to in a week as that's when my period is due (hopefully it won't come!) It's now 6 days post ovulation and today I ive had some spots of pink blood mixed in with egg white type discharge so hoping that this is implantation bleeding (I had this with my first child!) all in all I definitely recommend these tests, I would never buy the much more expensive ones, these ones do the jobs.

I'm not sure what to make of these. I've been trying for my second for nearly two years now, so I've had plenty of experience using ovulation tests. I know these tests detect the lh surge, but being much more sensitive (like an early detection pregnancy test), means they detect the hormone earlier than a normal ovulation test would, so there is always a second line. That's understandable, and not really off putting. But...I first tested literally a day before my period was due, because I didn't know where I was in my cycle, and it was a definate positive. That's impossible. So I started testing after my period and watched the other line getting darker every day, and got a positive when I thought I should. But it was strange because I had no other symptoms that I was ovulating. I just tested now, 8 days past ovulation just out of curiosity, and its showing almost positive again. Its way too confusing. With normal ovulation tests there is only a second line leading up to ovulation. These ones are giving on and off positive all the time.
