The sound reproduction is not brilliant. I have the cd and know the songs well so am a bit disappointed with the quality of this 'remastered' version. Sound is muffled and several of the tracks are missing the first or last seconds- just feels like not alot of attention to detail! Obviously the content is great!

ポップス路線になってから最も良く売れた時期のフリートウッド・マックのベストアルバムとしては、一番最初に出たものです。同じジャケットデザインで曲目構成が少々異なる2種類の盤があったと思います。おそらくアメリカ盤とイギリス(ヨーロッパ)盤だったのでしょうか。このサイトを通じて今回私が入手したCDは、CD盤自体はドイツ製で、以前に出ていた日本盤と同じ全17曲の下記の構成でした。この曲目構成がなかなか良いと思っています。　近年出たVery Best of Freetwood Mac（1枚物の方）より曲がすこし少ないですが、Very Best of Freetwood Macでは（1枚物も2枚組みのも）'Big Love'がライブバージョンなのです。こちらのGreatest Hitsは、その'Big Love'がスタジオバージョンで、私はこのスタジオバージョンのミステリアスな雰囲気がわりと好きです。値段にもよるかもしれませんが、ベスト盤としてこちらGreatest Hitsも、初めてフリートウッド・マックを聴かれる方にはお薦めです。　なぜこのベスト盤のジャケットデザインはこのような簡素なものなのか？　おそらくリンジー・バッキンガムがいったん脱退して、新メンバーが入った時に出たために、単純にメンバーの写真にはできにくかったということもあると思います。それにしても地味なデザインですが、曲目は珠玉の構成です。1.
