I am a big fan of this fan and the company that supplied it! It was a little difficult to put together as I have difficulties with my hands however it is sturdy and exceptionally precise It stands well and it is safe and solid rather than flimsy as other fans are. It is well balanced. As it is in my bedroom I have put some Blu-Tack over the light so that it doesn’t always have a light on but you could always turn it off at the plug however as I am in bed and incapacitated it is the perfect solution! Well done and well made. I recommend it

We took a chance on this more affordable fan after trying a few pricier ones that were supposed to be quiet (even had the Quiet Mark), but still ended up being too noisy. Very pleasantly surprised by this one – it’s genuinely quiet, perfect for running through the night, and gives off a lovely, consistent breeze. So impressed we’re buying another before summer hits!

Bought this to serve a dual purpose, keep a bedroom cool come summer and provide a nice draught to make exercising more comfortable. This fan fulfills both these roles quite well.Assembly was straightforward and easy, even without instructions. The only slightly fiddly part was the housing. The two halves needed a little bullying to fit together well and the screw and bolt holding them together is tiny.The fan is very quiet on the low setting and even on high setting won't disturb you unless you are an extremely light sleeper. It is not terribly powerful, but on full power and directed it produces a reasonable current of air. Swing action is smooth and quiet. The control panel is simple, works well and is replicated by the remote which also works well.If I'm being super picky . . . The power cord is not very long, I would like it to extend to be taller, tilt a little more and a recess in the body to house the remote when not in use would be super useful.In general, I'm happy with my purchase, would buy again and do recommend this product for the price I paid (which was £50),

I was looking for a fan that was powerful enough to keep me cool in a hot room, but also not let out too much noise (aka not be noisy).This fan isn't as good as those £35-40 18" chrome floor fans you can find on E-Bay. These fans are a lot more powerful than this Futura one, but the drawback is they are quite noisy which can cause problems if you're either trying to sleep, or watching something with headphones that doesn't block out external sounds. If you don't care about noise or remote controls, you're better off with those floor fans. They are amazing at keeping large rooms nice and cool.That said, this does the job just fine. It is somewhat powerful and quiet compared to other fans. I am able to comfortably watch things and listen to music with my headphones (they don't block out outside noise) without having the fan battle the sounds playing through my headphones (which would force me to ramp up the volume with louder fans). This is with the fan at its highest setting. It's even quieter at lower speeds.My room is currently sitting between 27-30c. It always gets this hot during summer. It is doing a fantastic job at keeping me cool. That's an instant win for me as all I needed was a decent quiet fan that keeps me cool.Great little fan overall. The only real drawback is you cannot turn off the LEDs. They are quite bright and may become distracting in a dark room. Other than that, it's a nicely balanced fan from what I've seen of it so far.

The media could not be loaded. Works perfectly. Lovely air movement even on the lowest setting. I use a fan all year round I love a breeze! This is replacing a 17yr old all metal fan that has finally bit the dust.Mine is black and it looks very smart. The base is really sturdy and weighty so it's going nowhere. The fan is a good combination of plastics and metal. The digital touch screen controls are great. Not too bright and doesn't remain lit up like some others I saw so if your using this in a bedroom at night that won't distract you if you like a dark room. Nice little clip on remote stand that clips onto the main body. The remote has the rotate function on it so you haven't got to touch the main unit to direct it if you don't want to just press rotate and when it in position press it again and it will stay there.I'd 100% recommend it and I'd buy another one without hesitation. Let's hope it lasts as long as my previous one.

MY brother had this fan and i couldn't believe how strong it was and how well it worked cause I had lost faith in stand up fans due to previous ones I had experienced. Bought this fan and I have to say its worth every penny. If you're looking for something thats not quite an AC unit but need a nice cool breeze when the temps are around 25 degrees this fan is perfect.I'll be using my AC unit for anything 30+ degrees but below that this fan is perfect.
Dont buy ! Poor support from the manufacturer.
