Best mustard oil I've used, excellent on replacing ghee in Asian cooking less bad bits and takes reasonable heat, couldn't recommend it any better, the mustard oil to go with.

Wanted a true Indian mustard oil for cooking, and this has a great colour and smell - slightly sulphurous - and is perfect to get that extra flavour in your curries. Many people have noted the "external use only", mainly due to the high levels of erucic acid in the oil - at low levels it is safe, however repeated or high levels of consumption can be dangerous (research on animals showed that is can lead to a heart condition called myocardial lipidosis). If you prefer to play it safe, please search for "Cold Pressed Mustard Seed Oil" from "Best of Hungary" as they have a Great Taste award winning mustard seed oil which is 100% free of erucic acid.So whilst the product is great for cooking (warnings aside), the bad rating here is for the devious seller, Crazee Deal - who have clearly read the poor reviews on Bolo where people have bought this product and noticed the £2.29 label (printed on the product label itself). My bottle arrived with this part torn off. Whilst I think most people would shrug off a couple of quid extra, at £.98 it's taking the piss. Hardly a "crazee deal" is it?Bottom line is, wait until the price falls or look elsewhere.
