This is my 2nd purchase of these notebooks for working from home. The quality of the paper is good and has a smooth surface, I can write on the paper with my fountain pen, the nib glides with no bleed through (Waterman Mysterious Blue ink). The perforations mean you can pull out a page from the book and have a nice clean edge with no worry about ripping. The front cover is durable and the rear is firm but not cumbersome so you can write while holding the book in hand or resting on your knee if working away from your desk. Good value for money

I bought the notebook for taking notes and I am happy with my purchase. The notebook is good quality and good value for money. The pages are smooth and easy to write on. The wire bound design makes it convenient to flip the pages and fold the notebook. The only downside is that the pages tend to rip off a bit too easily from the perforated edges. Sometimes I lose some notes when the pages fall off. I wish the perforation was stronger or optional. Overall, I would still recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable notebook. (Picture of page tearing without me wanting)

After being a pukka pad jotter buyer for many years I was looking for some cheaper pads that work relatively well with fountain pens. Pukka pads jotters have terrible feathering. I had heard from youtube that cambridge pads might be good for fountain pens (there is a review about cambridge legal pads foutain pen friendliness). Coming here I saw some reviews saying these are good for fountain pen use.After purchasing and testing I can say that I am thoroughly impressed. These exceeded my expectations. The feathering is so minimal, even with my TWSBI Eco medium nib (which apparently sits somewhere between a standard European medium and a Japanese medium). Dry times are roughly 15 seconds in 25 degree celsius dry weather. Maybe a bit less. Bleedthrough is non-existant for regular writing with my pen and ink combination at least (aforementioned Eco with Diamine Deep Magenta). Showthrough is very good. Prefectly usable on both sides of the leaf.Considering these are 3 for £5 you're talking just over £1.75 per pad for something that works so well with fountain pens. Buying Oxford Black N' Red's work out at over £5 per pad! Rhodia pads can be gotten as cheap as £3 per pad but have the longer dry times.The Cambridge Jotters really are the best of both worlds. I still can't believe how good they are, especially for the cost!One caveat seems to be with gel pens. These must be coated to take fountain pens better, which means the dry times are atrocious for gel ink. I can still smear it after multiple minutes (this is a uniball signo 307, which is known for longer dry times and being highly lubricated). This is with a slightly clammy finger in the summer heat. It's probably best not to touch as much as possible if you're using a highly lubricated gel ink. Something drier, like a Zebra Sarasa fares much better on this paper. After 30 seconds no smearing occured. I'd recommend sticking to using quick dry style gel inks for this paper. Pentel Energel and Pilot G2 should both be fine.
